Last year I just walked around the facility on my own, saw all the locker rooms, gym, etc, so I am not too sure of the schedule for a formal tour. I enjoyed my time there.

I had a great time today with the fam. I didn't get a chance to go last year but very glad I did this time. TFC/MLSE were fantastic hosts.

I understand some did not play nice with the desert table, taking a bunch and putting them in their bag, leaving none for some, what jackasses.

When I was there there was plenty of stuff.
I was there between 11am and 1pm, it was around 1pm when I took this picture.

The cupcakes were good but I couldn't take a knife to that cake even though they labeled it! :P

Just got back. Had a great time there and learned a lot about the behind the scenes operations at TFC from parents at the academy game.

FYI Academy won 6 - 1, with excellent performances from Daniel and Bouboli (notching a hattrick from just playing 45 min). Seriously makes me consider just not renewing and getting season tickets from USL, seeing as this will likely be the team that plays in it. Also noticed the difference in professionalism between TFC and ANB Academy. ANB mouthed off a lot, and TFC just kept it cool throughout the game.

Also related to USL, Bez confirmed that they are looking to have a USL team as a pathway for academy players.

Kinda glad I went yesterday...interesting to see the facilities and the food, music, and atmosphere were all pretty good. The nicest part was when a young kid near me won the "Ball Kid" raffle prize; so excited jumping up and down...

On another note...these boots were made for walking?..

Thanks finally got it sorted out. I had requested to not get an MLS level email some time months ago and somehow that request was applied to my TFC level emails as well. This was the 4th kick at the can but the support team seems to have figured it out this time as I have all the emails flowing now.

Was a great day at Kia (and yes, some were very aggressive with the dessert table.....saw one guy and his daughter shove 4 each of the giant cookies and banana breads into a bag but c'est la vie)
Bez was there and gave a bit of speech on where he sees everything going. definitely not the speaker big Tim is but seems to have some sort of passion for what he is doing whether I agree with his choices or not.

if you have kids definitely take them next year if they haven't been. great fun for them and they get to see the inside of a proper academy.

A little offtopic, I havent received TFC related email since March. I dont recall unsubscribing from anything MLSE related, and my issue is STILL not solved. Any chance you can point to me who you spoke with at support? I keep getting told everything looks fine from their end but clearly something is a miss as I have tried changing the email address that it gets sent to and anything else I could think of. And no they arent going to my spam folder.

“Years have gone by and I’ve finally learned to accept myself for who I am: a beggar for good football.

I go about the world, hand outstretched, and in the stadiums I plead: ‘A pretty move, for the love of God.’

And when good football happens, I give thanks for the miracle and I don’t give a damn which team or country performs it.”
