Just about finished packing... taking the whole family up to to Montreal for a family vacation (Thurs through Tues). The boy and I will be going to the game, looking forward to meeting up with everyone at Maclean's and then the game. After tonight and Nelson's quip about this game being a 'must win' (and I kinda agree with him), I'm looking forward to my first road win. Been miserable after the last few games, hoping to come back happy.

    See you all there!

Thanks for posting all the info. Anyone have a sense of whether the 4 pm away section gate time is strictly upheld. My only experience was Olympic stadium and there was no rules I was aware of for visitor arrival.

    Default Go TFC GO!!!

[QUOTE=Cashcleaner;1685079]This may be the first time I won't be making Montreal. I want to go and bring a few friends, but like Red said, we've had so many schedule changes and issues with the Impact FO, that we're probably gonna see one of the lowest road trip numbers for this one.

We too will not be able to make it this year.

However, we were impressed with the Impact FO - our friends are going and they received a telephone call to make sure as TFC supporters they knew about the game change to Saturday from Sunday . . . .

We need the points, let's have a great game TFC!

It's good to get at the entry gate at 4.... Just to get on without fuss, yes the time may not be exact but .....less fuss and less interaction with limpact problem makers......Me I'll see who's at macleans before 4 say 2-2:30.....Then get to the viau stop ....As per macleans not allowing kids, sounds like the old bar days of women's only entrances. If not 4 tfc supporters there is no reason to go.....ha..McKibbins 4 me , except tomorrow. ....but there is Dorchester park right across the street where we all met last time anyway. .... You'll be able to see everyone on macleans. ... And hook up that way. ..

I was on 3:15 train to Montreal. We rolled forward about 100 feet and that was as far as we got. I was sceptical that they would secure buses for all of those passengers......so headed home and grabbed the car. Here we are now in Montreal. Nothing will stop me getting to the game!

Just reading this last post still in montreal. ..(stuffed) .... Had way better time than I ever imagined. .....recognized basically no one ... except for a few. .friendly faces... And that made a great party. ..The new fans we met were wonderful and family...At the game, . we were held up at the gate by security for 20 mins , expecting quite a few rebel routers. ..... After everyone bitched we finally got through. Think next time just go in wherever you want. Our section (higher up), was fine by me , stood in the middle of the capos and to me it seemed like EVERYONE was singing and fantastic ! Their crowd definitely noticed tfc supporters who never stopped. The two 'capos' were the catalyst' to our great showing . Like their stadium, (apparently their fans don't as they only get 16,000? )..the roof covers the stands a bit but
seemed to push our singing out to the field greatly acknowledged by the team .....Now if we can get home . Without another train derailment ....
Special mention to GlenM... Who was rescheduled to game day on his train after the derailment he went via Ottawa and arrived with his luggage at half time. .. (trooper) AND Gregg ? and his 3 friends who after being delayed at Kingston on the train cab it in at a cost of $400..... Some true fans there. ...made our weekend....
    .
