Apparently Jackson is available for Saturday:

    ----------------Bendik---------------------
    --Creavalle---Orr---Henry----Morrow----
    Oduro----Bradley---Warner----Jackson--
    ----------Gilberto----Moore--------------

Bench: Hagglund, Konopka, Osorio, Weeds, Lovitz, DeRo

    3-2 for Toronto...I sense goals...

I don't think Creavalle starts. Nelsen seems reluctant to throw people into the mix, so maybe Jackson slots in at RB with Oso on the left.

Dwyer is in my fantasy team, so I wouldn't worry about him.

I have very little expectation for this game in way of a result if I am totally honest. I'd be totally happy if we lost, showed well and dominated the game. SKC is part of the group of teams I just hate (the others are Montreal, Vancouver and Philadelphia).

I think there's a chance Jackson starts at right back because when he and Bloom went out I remember Nelsen saying something along the lines of it being frustrating because Jackson was the next in line at right back.

Bendik, Jackson, Hagglund, Henry, Morrow, Oduro, Warner, Bradley, Osorio, Moore, Gilberto

Subs if winning: Lovitz for Oduro (70'), Orr for Osorio (75')

Subs if losing: De Rosario for Warner (80')

Subs if drawing: Lovitz for Oduro (55'), Orr for Jackson (75')

2-1 loss but hoping I'm wrong.

With Defoe out, and a game against a top opponent, I wouldn't be adverse to seeing Nelson try something new.

Gilberto up top as target man might just work for a game or two. If nothing else, Nelson could start to develop an alternative to his rigid 4-4-2. To take the squad to the next level we need to develop tactical flexibility now.

    I would love to see:

    4-1-4-1

    -----------------Bendik---------------
    Hagglund--Orr----Henry-------Morrow
    ----------------Warner------------------
    Oduro-----Osorio---Bradley---Jackson
    ---------------Gilberto------------------

Not much hope of seeing this, but why not place some actual trust in the backline and field an attacking 3-4-3?

    ---------------Bendik--------------------
    ----Hagglund----Orr-----Henry----------
    Oduro-----Osorio---Bradley----Jackson
    --DeRosario---Gilberto---Wiedeman---

SKC is almost at full strength unlike last game. They are equally tired as TFC with just as many games over last few weeks and played a friendly vs Man City on Wed. So you'd think their traditional full court press tactic isn't going to be as effective as fatigue sets in. But SKC has been winning their league games and their depth IMO is better than TFC.

All depends on whether SKC can smother Bradley with pressure, who hasn't look comfortable dealing with pressure and been turning over the ball a lot. TFC must also be smarter and not use Bradley as a dumping ground whenever they get the ball, and use Bradley more intelligently (like, look for other options other than Bradley)

Big test with two 6 pointers in a row against teams higher in the standings. This being the final home game before 4 road games it seems really important to extend the modest 3 game unbeaten run. Unfortunately SkC is in form winning 5 of last 6 in there unbeaten rampage where they haven't lost a league game since end of May!

It will be a test of TFC team depth with 3 starter roles back filled and a big opportunity for Gilberto who will now benefit from being the main target of the teams buildup play.

It's hard to believe that they won't be back to BMO until August 23rd and will play skc a third time this season before the return game vs Chicago.

Hoping for a spectacle and 3 point send off!

Looks like it's going to be rainy and a little chilly tomorrow evening in Toronto. Excellent news for us as Kansas City has seen temperatures of around 30-32 Celcius over the past few days. It even hit as high as 38 degrees yesterday in KC, so Saturday's expected forecast of 22 and rain clouds may be a bit of a shock for the visiting team.

KC is coming into town with a record of 10-5-5, and have won 4 of their last 5 matches. In fact, they haven't lost a match since the end of May. They're also one of the league's top goal leaders with 29 goals for. They've given up 18 goals themselves giving them a differential of +11.

With Defoe suspended and Bloom and Caldwell injured, things aren't looking great for Toronto coming into the match tomorrow. But KC isn't invincible and we were able to get the away draw from them back in May, so there's that to consider. A win would be huge for TFC - at least moreso than usual against any other Eastern club. It would be awesome to pick up three points at home before we start the four game road schedule coming up.

Big question, and really appreciate any advice: have never tried this, but if I have the PDF of my tickets for tonight on my mobile phone instead of a piece of paper, will they let us through the gate?

I believe I have heard that the tickets should scan from a mobile device but they do not advise this as they can't guarantee it scans.

I've heard people do this but if the thing doesn't scan than you'll have to get a printout at customer service.

Awesome, thanks - guess if they don't scan, the ticket office is right next to the gate I enter through anyway so will just walk over.

Thanks everyone for the replies. Now I can plan my pregaming with relatively little worry!

Rain might not be around for kick off. The Weather Network for the Islands is saying 60% chance of a thunderstorm at 7 pm but then their weather map radar thingie is suggesting no rain in the area after 4:30 pm.

I've done this this whole season so far and so have the people I sit with.

    Works every time.

The screen has to be big enough (say regular iphone size) and you have to zoom into the pdf to get the barcode on the whole screen.
