Default TFC vs Sporting Kansas City - 7:00 pm @ BMO TSN2

A big game. Very big. A real test of what this team is capable of.

SKC rested a few for this game, as did we.

SKC is going to press us hard and Bradley in particular. We will have to be mobile, quick and accurate with the passing.

Time for the boys to step up.

    And, to top it off:

According to the Weather network, its going to be raining all day.

Hoping Gilberto can be big for us this game, especially as we will be without Defoe

SKC has to be nervous about going into this game considering our games in hand. I think we will have the mental advantage anyways.

I'm worried about an in form Sapong and Dwyer vs. that back line. Not to mention the form that Feilhaber, Collin, Sinovic, Besler etc. have been in. We'll have our hands full, but if everyone is on point I don't see why we can't take 3 points from this one.

TSN2? Wtf TSN why? Anyways very excited for this game - best two teams in the East in my opinion. Gilberto and Bradley in particular will have to step up.

Being in England for the next few years, this is the first game I will be able to watch it a few weeks, so I am very excited!

And when it is on TSN main, the draw isn't significantly higher than TSN 2.

TFC will be the higher draw when we're 125 years old on TSN 1-99.

    Expedia Starting XI:

    ----------------Konopka---------------
    --Orr---Hagglund---Henry----Morgan---
    -DeRo---Bekker----Hall------Lovitz---
    ---------Weeds-----Hamilton----------

(actually, there's probably a vague possibility of Lovitz starting, after his performance vs Tottenham)

Nothing wrong with TSN2. It is way more visible than GolTV, SN1, or SN360. We don't have the audience to get on the main network unless there is a dearth of other options (ie no curling, Hockey, CFL, NBA, etc...)

My projected starting XI for the Expedia Starting XI:

    ------------------Lovitz------------------
    ---Defoe-----Bradley----Bekker----Konopka-
    --Henry----Wiedeman----Moore---Hagglund-
    ---------------Roberts--------------------
    --------------Cunningham----------------

Now talk about this click bait. Thx.

with Defoe out maybe RN goes to a 4-2-3-1 with a lineup of

    -----------Bendik-----------
    Creavalle---Orr---Henry---Morrow
    -----Warner------Bradley----
    Oduro------Osorio-----Lovitz
    ----------Gilberto-----------

or go with the kids at CB allows Orr at DM and Lovitz on bench.

    -----------Bendik-----------
    Creavalle---Hagglund---Henry---Morrow
    --------Warner-----Orr-----------
    Oduro--------Bradley----------Osorio
    --------------Gilberto-----------

Creavalle was brought in for his versatility and with Bloom out for at least a month this gives us a good option. Or move Orr to his natural RB (tho seems too slow for that. Plays better at CB or DM) and play Creavalle at DM.
Think Jackson still has that knock tho haven't heard anything since the 18th. 10-14 days out at that time.
Probably the old 4-4-2 will emerge but I can hope for something more like this. Second option also gives Bradley the defensive cover to really move up offensively.

I like Roberts as Sweeper, given Frings is out suspended, but Lovitz as Target Man is just not going to work - Ricketts would be my choice.

Shit weather tomorrow, but I'll happily take the one rain day considering how nice it's been so far this season. It'll be a tough game for both sides, but one I hope we can win.

With Defoe not being able to play, I wouldnt be surprised to see Mista as the replacement
