As much as Orr screwed up on the first goal..I thought Bendik was equally culpable. Is Cesar coming back?
No.
I agree Orr and Bendik both messed up, but then again, Orr rarely plays as CB. So it was mistake waiting to happen; I am not going to be too hard on either those two for that mistake.
Besides that, TFC looked great, but too much space in the middle of field that cause a lot of issues for us though. Bradley-Warner partnership need to gel ASAP or else put Osorio back in the middle unless Nelsen is willing to change tactics.
Bendik has struggled at times recently, but last night may have been his best game in a TFC kit. Other than the 2nd Houston goal, he was exceptional.
30 seconds in........Bendik shanks a kick out from a back pass. Houston has throw from the top of the box.
His day did get better I admit but Bendik's gotta spend a bit more time working on that. His distribution is horrible.
Bendik was a beast last night. Our side could have lost by 2-3 goals if not for some outstanding saves by him.
And I'm really didn't like Houston's rough style of play. They looked like they were taking liberties with some of our players.
TORONTO FC, 2017 MLS CHAMPIONS!!! (Still the greatest in league history!)
Toronto vs Houston: Where defenses go to die, or where offences go to pad their stats. Needless to say Bendik's and Halls goals against average wasn't helped by this series.
