Default Game Day: Toronto FC at Wilmington Hammerheads - 7:30 PM

With the World Cup break in full swing the Reds are done in Wilmington for a friendly vs. their USL affiliate this evening. It kickoffs at 7:30 and can be watched live on the Hammerheads youtube channel. Will be interesting to see the lineup.

I hope Jordan Hamilton switches shirts at half time like Pele did.

So are we expecting to see most of the young and new blood? ...something like this?

    ----------Moore--Wiedeman
    Lovitz---Osorio---Warner---Odouro
    Morgan--Henry--Hagglund--Bloom/Richter
    -------------Konopka

Also, is Richter officially loaned out to Ottawa now?

Nelsen is still in toronto along with a few of the players: Defoe and Lovitz are 2 that are still here.

I keep looking on the Fury website, but no news on Richter and he's not listed on the roster.

    Armen Bedakian @ArmenBedakian · 33s

Jaineil Hoilett's contract with FSV Frankfurt expires June 30. #TFC #MLS

    Armen Bedakian @ArmenBedakian · 1m

But then again, so was Jaineil. This is confusing.

    Armen Bedakian @ArmenBedakian · 2m

It could be either Hoilett brother. But remember, this time last year, Junior Hoilett was staying fit with Toronto FC, too. #TFC #MLS

    Armen Bedakian @ArmenBedakian · 4m

Perhaps it's not Junior Hoilett but his brother Janieil Hoilett. Will need to confirm for that one. Either way, a new face for #TFC .

    Armen Bedakian @ArmenBedakian · 6m

So it *looks* like Junior Hoilett is starting for Toronto FC today against Wilmington Hammerheads. #TFC #MLS

    Toronto FC@torontofc 2m
Starting XI: Konopka, Jackson, Hagglund, Richter, Morgan, Hoilett, Hall, Oso, DeRo, Wiedeman, Hamilton Tune in: http://torontofc.ca/live

So it appears they are testing Jackson out at wing back, which he has played before in Dallas. So between that and this Hoilett kid i've got a few things i'm excited to look for tonight.

Is there a bench for this? Can't see who those 3 people on the bench are.

    And who's coaching - Brennan?

Anybody know where I can find a decompression chamber.

The play is so much of a dive from the World Cup, I'm getting the bends.

1st goal. Dero scores the penalty awarded after a hand ball. Dero calmly slots it to the bottom left.

De Ro puts away the PK.

Hoilett looks good so far. Decent pace.

Hoilett scores! Thought he missed his opportunity after a heavy touch receiving a good pass from Wieds, but ends up chipping it over Roberts.

awkward cringe-worthy statement by the commentator in response to a female physio, "with that physio, a player might want to make the injury look more serious than it really is..' something along those lines..
