Montreal posting Di Vaio and McInerney very high when we have the ball at the back, ahead of both our CMs. I'd like to see how Bekker and Nelsen adjust to this. There is space to exploit if we pass it past them and keep the ball central.

I read that he's going to Europe and they wanted to get something for him before it happened rather than just let him go.

Basically $$$ issue and player ambition issue....

Anyone get a good look on a replay at the Montreal hand ball in the box? On a quick look, could easily have been called - his hand was up and it deflected the ball over the net.

I wouldn't complain considering how many we got away with in the 1st leg.

Moore is linking with Defoe quite well so far.

edit: Clear foul on Defoe from Camara, not sure why Gantar didn't call that

Team shape is terrible. you can't line four guys flat across the field and expect to create many easy passes.

Team shape is weak but the movement is good. And it was encouraging to see us positionally set up on that corner without players having to bicker to each other about who was covering who, as in previous years. At least these guys seem to be being drilled in the essentials.

Midfield could use an Osorio in the 2nd half. Take one of the CMs off.

Nice dive Bernardello. Gantar calls it when he's looking the opposite direction

Bekker is losing his shine. Kid waits for the ball to come to him rather than go for the ball. Likes taking set pieces and shooting but doesn't like dribbling around opponents.

Gantar always seems to be the difference maker in these games...sigh. Just glad he gave us the benefit of the doubt there.
