Not sure I understand how Defoe "proved Roy wrong" by scoring a goal. I'm sure Roy Hodgson knows that Defoe is able to score goals. So now poor, little Roy is crying over his mistake because Defoe scored a goal over the weekend in the MLS? Let's be real here.

Well what do you expect from a loan deal. QPR can do whatever they want. Also, I think most of us knew that this wasn't going to last because into the summer transfer window. They'll most likely going to try and move him on.

He said end of calendar year. We all heard it, and it was discussed on the board. So, December 31 would mean full season. It was also mentioned in interviews afterwards.
