He's played so deep for the vast majority of this game, we may as well have played 5 across the back. Hagglund sub came too late, he should have come on instead of weideman in hindsight, allowing becker to play as a more advance anchor that could close the space between our defense and midfield.

    The ref won that.

Our lads played hard. They played fucking disgracefully, they dont deserve their points.

Starting to resemble previous years. I know you guys love Nelsen, but his coaching is abysmal

Game stolen. Shouldn;t have given up that last goal but There should have been at least 2 reds and a penalty against dallas. I can;t take this league sometimes. I'm shocked.

I desperately wanted Nelson to workout -- like the guy.. but, he is quite clearly out of his depth.

Injuries and a missed penalty call, on the night, aside, his late subs have been mind-boggling; they're often used as a strategy for the team that's leading or level to kill-off time, yet he continues to do this, despite us being down for some twenty odd minutes, and with some subs not even make two touches.

Tactics have left much to be desired, as well. A bit harsh to call his results, so far, as being down to luck.. but, he's not got much in the locker, it would seem.

I feel like him and his fitness staff have been holding us back, this season.

Midfield out of gas, bench was barren, and the ref was horrible.

A tie would have been fair.

Take the week off and then thump NE.

I'm going to call it.. Gilberto will be bought out.

He can't make space, no one plays to him. Either move him to the Wing or get rid of him.

On the plus side I no longer need to do a spit take. I said 15 points in 7 games. it's not possible now.

Every game without The Real Deal, is going to be a loss because our coach in training still thinks long ball hoof ball works. The defenders fail to utilize the midfield and we get clobbered

Open season on our players. No protection at all. What kind of world class league is that?

We fielded two half fit mids who couldn't keep up with the play. To make it worse we sat on our subs until late in the game.

I seriously question our fitness staff for letting those guys on the field.

A better coach would make proper use of him, I'm sure.

Oh, well, we lose. But hey, Sportsnet aren't going to let us dwell on that. There's UEFA Champions League games to promote and any post-game analysis or interviews can just get the hell out the way for some tennis event in Monte Carlo. Sigh, Soccer sucks, eh?

Bradley barely played this game. All his skills were there but he couldn't run, and running his is game. Looked like a regular player today.

Ref screwed us. We didn't deserve a result, but we should have one.

We don't deal well with holding the ball under pressure. We didn't deserve points in this game, unlike the home game last week against Colorado.

What midfield? Did Osorio and Bradley even once contest a header? Did you see all the work Issy and Jackson put in down the flanks? (and neither of those guys are all that good offensively)
Blaming that loss on Nelsen is myopic.

    Its Dallas.

    Away.

With our two best mids playing at 40%.

The result should not be surprising because of the situation we were in.

The biggest surprise for me was a new low for bad refereeing.

Looks like it without Defoe but there's too many factors to call him a bust or fat at this point.

Yep. Do you think the team found all those youth soccer teams intimidating?
