    Default MLS Week 6

“Years have gone by and I’ve finally learned to accept myself for who I am: a beggar for good football.

I go about the world, hand outstretched, and in the stadiums I plead: ‘A pretty move, for the love of God.’

And when good football happens, I give thanks for the miracle and I don’t give a damn which team or country performs it.”

Looks like at least part of the replacement refs crew will be joining PRO ref pool. (Alan Kelley, Ioannis Stavridis)

Kelly was already there working for Pro as a trainer. He and Stavridis should be used as an example of what to bring in the future. Get some decent Euro experienced refs together with the better North American refs and assistants.

Philadelphia tied Salt Lake, Montreal tied Chicago, and the Revs beat Houston, so at least our loss to Colorado won't hurt us too much in the standings. We'll stay 2nd place in the East after this weekend.

MLS is going to be very happy if Dempsey keeps scoring like that.

Their 3rd goal was a portrait in power forward work by Martins & Dempsey.

I'm watching Portland-Chivas. I have to say, Urruti has looked good in the matches I've watched from him so far. Meanwhile, Dike...
    I love the Portland support.

I can't watch any of the Canadian teams until Monday, so I'll make my way through the US games, first.
Toronto FC baby...best team everrrrrrrrrr -Jozy

Frei is not the same goalkeeper that I remember. The guy has looked incredibly shaky, at best.

After 5 games TFC are second in the East, one point behind Columbus. There are 3 league games left before players have to leave for the World Cup: @ DAL, vs NE, vs NY. Max points would go a long way before losing Bradley and possibly Defoe for 4+ games.

Bloom made team of the week. Good performance from him this week. Orr was so positionally solid it made his job easier, I think.
