Rivalry Week in MLS
“Years have gone by and I’ve finally learned to accept myself for who I am: a beggar for good football.
I go about the world, hand outstretched, and in the stadiums I plead: ‘A pretty move, for the love of God.’
And when good football happens, I give thanks for the miracle and I don’t give a damn which team or country performs it.”

Some interesting matches starting with the Seattle Portland game on now.
1-1 so far. might be a shoot out

this POR v SEA game is flying out of the gate. definitely recommend watching if you're bored.
2-1. Valeri with a sick turnaround shot. Frei had no chance

WOW...this game is fun. Seattle getting schooled on the wings. As much as we are not happy with the 4-4-2 of TFC, sticking with a 4-3-3 with less then defensive minded forwards is going to hurt you in this league.
Schmid getting outcoached here.
This is getting Keeganesque.
2-2 after 24 mins...

Montreal running all over NY right now. Creating a ton of chances.
Urruti scores for Portland minutes after Chara gets his second of the game. Terrible giveaway from Seattle, Urruti curls a beauty into the top corner from the edge of the box.
Maxi Urruti with a brilliant finish for Portland, 4-2 Timbers
4 Portland goals for GOTW? All of them crazy.
montreal is terrible lol. against a new york team missing 4 starters
Urruti ...a BAD few minutes by Ali Baba.
Red Bulls score again, Luyindula. 2 goals in 3 minutes after getting dominated for the first 30 minutes.
Montreal outshoot NY 12-5 but are down 1-2 at the half.
Seattle game going nuts.......Dempsey has been a beast taking the game by the throat.
4-4 heading into stoppage in Portland, Dempsey with the hat trick. How did Portland let this one slip away...
500 Sounder fans outsinging the Timbers Army.
A boring 4-4 draw. MLS sucks

Defensive blunders getting punished this season. Amerikwa takes one off a tumbling Union defender and lays it in for Magee.
Loving these Eastern conference ties. Macmath saves a last-kick-of-the-game Magee penalty to preserve the 2-2 draw between Philly and Chicago.
Laba sent off in Vancouver
... And Colorado equalize lol

Laba was jobbed by some amateur officiating IMO. Yet another example of a ref who doesn't understand the difference between officiating a professional match and a mens league game.
Strangely, I can get the TFC matches on MLS Live, but not the Van or Mtl matches. I use Unblock-US, so it's a bit weird, but I don't mind. I can watch them during the week.
I'm currently on DC-NE, which has been a bit uninspired so far.
Toronto FC baby...best team everrrrrrrrrr -Jozy
