“Years have gone by and I’ve finally learned to accept myself for who I am: a beggar for good football.
I go about the world, hand outstretched, and in the stadiums I plead: ‘A pretty move, for the love of God.’
And when good football happens, I give thanks for the miracle and I don’t give a damn which team or country performs it.”

A good official wouldn't have missed the initial foul. The whole sequence reeked of poor game management and discretion. That's the difference between a professional and a lot of the amateurs.
Yes the letter of the law says that's a yellow, but we've all seen plenty of sequences out there where the officials simply blow that sort of thing down as opposed to head for their pocket book.
Just watched the highlights from Portland v Seattle.
Great fucking atmosphere in Portland. Wow!
And terrific rivalry between those two.
Dallas just scored 3 goals in nine minutes following a Houston red card.

McMath made a great PK save right at the death to get the Union a point. Worth a second look that.
Chivas USA vs LA now

Saw the Por-Sea highlights on MLS Live... What a game! Felt bad for Frei though!

Seriously fantastic week in MLS... This league has grown so much in the last 7 years. Cascadia game was absolutely immense, MTL v NYRB was fantastic and TFC came together as team and played one hell of a match to win their 2nd road match this year.

Seattle fanboys on mlssoccer will be going mental with 3 Portland goals and none of theirs.
"What do you mean Dempsey's penalty wasn't goal of the week?!?!?! Didn't you see the subtle difference in his post goal celebration?!?!? It blew my mind."

Jose Mari's FTW.

Catching up with last weeks games now. Bad day for Frei, another one for Urruti. His didn't look like it would make a difference but did in the end.
Edu and Amerikwa in on goals. Not the best quality game but pretty exciting.
Laba cost Vancouver 2 points.
It's still weird hearing Mariner cover NE games. I guess he's found a home. Dire match vs DC though.
