Wish they posted the lineup, would've been a good indicator of the formation Vanney might prefer.

Best part of the tweets for today's match is watching Duane Rollins having a mental meltdown.

I know it's a friendly and it's not supposed to matter ... but lol, it's a little sad to let in two goals against a high school team.. 2 - 2 right now.

its pre season and we are just getting fitness on the guys with a heavily rotated squad. Best not to read too much into it one way or the other.

The guys have been in Florida for what - three or four days, with half the likely starters either off on national duty or still in transit. Consider this as the footie equivalent of taking that first bucket of balls to the driving range to work on that crappy slice that you developed at the end of last golf season, and to see just how much rust crept into your swing over the winter.

It looked like they played mostly the newcomers and depth players in this game. Not bad I guess. Was it just me or did those players seem to be older than high-schoolers? I'd like to see a whole game against decent opposition at the Suncoast Pro classic before commenting on TFC's 2015 chances. And why are they going back to Toronto, then back to Florida again for the tournament?

The academy that they played against has great facilities, if TFC are using it for their week of training they probably owed a match of good will for that.
    I'm just guessing here.

The schools they played today has a high performance athlete program, it's not your average HS.

Yep it just doesn't look good for the brand of the team. It's crazy how well a system can work though if the players buy in. A bunch of kids taking on a professional team and almost getting a result is impressive though good for them

The coverage reflects the match importance. An academy team helped our club with an early scrimmage. We're all just gagging for the season to start.

This is akin to the Iceland friendlies last month. Just a team looking for games in good weather.

Don't mean to belabour the point, but everything I could find on it seemed to indicate it is a high school...
