Hell if Defoe had managed to get that shot across we could have only been trailing by 1. I would like to see some changes though, maybe Issay.

    Amen.

This is pretty much what I have expected from TFC. Great some games, not so great in others.

This is one of - if not the toughest places in the league.

i.e. Our midfield without Osorio and Bradley has issues.
We need another quality ball winner, I haven't seen anything from Hall in his career to suggest he can be counted on.

Yeah, our midfield really suffers a drop in level when we go to the bench.

We also need a manager who's flexible with tactics and formation. Nelsen needs to stop playing flat 4-4-2 all the time.

I think what pisses me off the most is that Hall is on the field. Utterly useless pylon that has no business playing in this league. As for the result, I'm not too concerned as long as we at least step it up in the second half.

We all knew that it was going to take some time to Gel. Issey may not be cleared to play, and Dero can go a full 90 and is likely going to be Gilberto's sub at half or 65.

The whole reason I think we signed Issey was for what is happening right now.

It's not so much depth, it's the depth getting used to the game, on a bad pitch on the road, against a very good side.

Toledo is terrible but we've been getting pretty lenient calls. Penalty was clear cut but Defoe, Henry, and Caldwell all escaped possibly harsher punishment..

Game management on the other hand.. Toledo shows that he's shit.

Behind 2-0 but frankly we've been much more dangerous in the final third.. RSL has had dangerous counters but had only concerted that into a handful of shots. Their defending is solid though.. Really can pack the box when we get forward.

I agree with the commentator. Toronto's possession is horrible. they are more intent on getting up to defoe and gilberto. and end up losing the ball in the attempts, and get countered.
gotta have possesion before you try that stuff. its like a one punch ko you cant pull that on quality opponents, they will hurt you

We played a good bunch of the Seattle game in a 4-4-1-1 or 4-5-1.

RSL is what we hope to be in a few years. They all know each other and where each other likes the ball.

Hall is back to where he was in 2012.

Bloom is just plain out of position. Issey would be my first choice. Even Dero at a top of a diamond with Bradley at the bottom may be the best. Hall shouldn't be on the field.

I would normally agree, but I think we can give Hall the benefit on this one as he has been injured and this is his first game of the season, he's bound to be a little off pace.

Also, if I was a betting man, I'd be betting on Henry not finishing this game....

Valid point but of course but imo pretty shameless not to put Bekker in there. Hall is hopeless it's incredible he was even retained, Bekker at his worst, running around like a lost boy still has more upside than Hall...and we really only saw that once in CC. His limited first team action since was actually quite good.
