I'll lead it off. What a game. Bradley's fantastic. 90 minutes, he just does not let up. Offensively or defensively, he seems to be always on, always prepared, always chasing, always looking. I didn't really see that intensity in him during the exhibition game.

Dafoe doing what he should. Awesome. Nelson's statements on Gilberto are spot on. Great talent, needs some fitness.

    A few game asides.
    1. I got there an hour and a half early, and they were out of mittens. At the north gate anyway. (Awesome)
    2. Anyone else having trouble viewing the post game interviews on torontofc.ca? The videos don't seem to play.

Was kind of shocked by the Simmons article. I mean, that's pretty much like Bob McCown or Dave Perkins covering TFC. Wasn't surprised at all it was his first TFC match.

I'm loving Michael Bradley, but the "rational" side of me knows he didn't really have any business jumping at that ball with Arnaud - it wasn't even close to 50/50, and it was pretty reckless. On a really bad day, he may well have been red carded.

After clicking on the video to play and you get the swirlly circle you have to click on the play symbol in the bottom left of the controls portion of the window.

Must be a glitch. But that's working for me.

There's a great picture of Jack here: http://www.thestar.com/sports/tfc/20...me_opener.html

Although the words that accompany it aren't necessarily worth reading.

The next guy who sees Bradly heading for them at full speed will be a little hesitant, methinks!

Also, if anyone says that soccer players aren't tough...show them this:

I wonder if they froze it first.

We did not receive mitts before the game or the BMO schedule after the game (at the north gate too).

Bradley to Gilberto, then Defoe with the goal and Cesar a clean sheet . . . the BIG deals worked for us this match!

They were going to freeze it. But the needle couldn't penetrate the material that makes up his skull.

Michael Bradley is tougher than Chuck Norris. You heard it here first.
"Failure simply isn't an option at this stage. TFC pushed its chips to the middle of the table when it splurged on Bradley and Defoe and reinforced its bet by making savvy acquisitions elsewhere. This collection of players is capable of delivering on the promises made during the close season. There are no more excuses available for TFC. Only success will continue the process of atoning for the past and establishing a higher standard for the future." FOX Sports
