I only saw the game in 1 hour on GolTV, but I'm going to also give props to the goalkeeper for keeping If it was Bendik in net I believe he would have let in the equalizer.

Stefan Frei, looked like a #2 goalkeeper out there, maybe he's just been away for too long.

    1-0.

    Post I Found This Interesting......

Seleção number one Júlio César has good official debut for Toronto FC

Highly respected Brazil journalist Paulo Freitas wrote for Soccerly that the Queens Park Rangers loanee impressed and that his performance received acclaim from the Brazilian press.

Terra and Lancenet both mentioned that he had a good game whilst Globo Esporte stated he wasn’t to blame for the goal he conceded.

Statistics website Whoscored.com gave Júlio César a respectable 6.6 rating and state that he made six claims from crossers to highlight his performance.
"Failure simply isn't an option at this stage. TFC pushed its chips to the middle of the table when it splurged on Bradley and Defoe and reinforced its bet by making savvy acquisitions elsewhere. This collection of players is capable of delivering on the promises made during the close season. There are no more excuses available for TFC. Only success will continue the process of atoning for the past and establishing a higher standard for the future." FOX Sports

I think we often remeber Frei for standout performances on a poor team. He is a good shot stopper, but has never dealt with crosses well.

    A bit hyperbolic lol.

Leave Stefan Fly. Glad he's earned the starting spot out there. Great finishing makes good keepers look bad....

    Osorio is for real.

Playing with Jermain and Bradely will let him shine.
