There are reports out of Houston this morning that the Dynamo are in talks with TFC for the top spot in the allocation order.
Steven Goff reported last night that Houston are trying to trade Ashe to make room for Beasley.
Since Morrow has gone down, is that why TFC maybe interested in Ashe?
Houston seems to have to speak to us about trading our top spot in the allocation order to get Beasley. I find it a weird move for them. He's a great player, but I'm not sure left back is big gaping need for them. Certainly not one that is going to turn around a team out of the playoffs. Apparently they also need to find some cap space. So the question is, who on Houston could we get to trade the allocation spot? Is Corey Ashe worth it? Bring in a left back in Beasley, give us their current one? Especially with Bloom out.

Just get their first rounder and allocation.

Al Location + a sub wide midfielder I would think.
Apparently a trade involving a player is done. Just have to wait to see who we get.
or
Horst
Just for shits and giggles.
I would take Ashe. Especially if people are right about Bloom going to Orlando in the expansion draft. Ashe is a decent MLSer.
Not sure how Ashe fits in when we have Morrow. I'm not sure I'd prefer Ashe either.
Maybe we can swap Ashe as soon as we get him for something or someone more useful?
There was some speculation here that he wanted to go to Orlando because his wife is there. I have no knowledge of it personally. Would be great if he stayed.
Kind of a shame that it's Houston as they really don't have much to offer (minus the players they'd never give up like Davies, Bruin, & Barnes). Rather see us take a flyer on a young rookie like Arena or Johnson than a player like Ashe who fills no major need and costs too much $$$.

Warren Creavalle is the supposed player.
Salary $100K. Plays anywhere along the back line. Probably better than Ashe for us anyway.

Larson is saying Creavalle is the name he is hearing
