Kurtis Larson @KurtLarSUN now Dominic Oduro is a U.S. green card holder and was not an international on Columbus Crew's roster.
That is an ominous tweet by Rowaan.
Judging by the online comments from Crew supporters, Oduro was very well liked in Columbus. He was also their leading scorer last season.
This is a significant move.

It will depend who we bring to replace DP slot in the summer time. It's possible we could sign another "big name" DP if manage to get one of DP's.
If it's Rey, even better...
I'm not a huge fan, and I think that would be incredibly foolish. Really bad business.
If management feels like Gilberto is a flop, why not pick up a solid proven career MLS forward that can put up better numbers?
I like Gilberto, and the optics might be questionable, but if this is the precursor to making better use of a DP slot, I think I can get on board with it.
We gave up Laba and Gilberto for Oduro? That would be the reality of it.
Looks like it's a moot discussion anyway. For the record though, it would have been for Oduro and a new DP...
