For the record, I think Brek Shea still holds the distinction for scoring the most picturesque goal in the history of BMO Field. At the very least, it's right up there with Rafael Marquez.

i was reading KAKA will end up in Orlando, his buddy is part owner or something like that.
We should make a poll or a thread. I'd put that Reggie Lambe goal against Chicago on this list.
As far as goals at BMO ... Aguero's two goals vs Poland were pretty sweet ..https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NzS8HO6KnwU#t=135
Wasn'T one of Hassli's goals up for FIFA goal of the year?
From a Stoke facebook fan page. Take it as you will.Latest on the Brek Shea rumour, Toronto had been in touch with Stoke over taking Shea, a few weeks back, once the UK loan market closed. They made a move asking to take Brek on loan for the rest of the uk season, but they would only take Brek, if Stoke would allow Shea to leave permanently, at the end of the loan, if he impressed enough.
As i gather Stoke, don't want to sell Brek, and even though the story is only just hitting the media, this is old news, in respect of Stoke City

SCUTTLEBUTT: Brek Shea to Toronto "done"? (self.tfc)
submitted 1 hour ago by section111
At the risk Forlanning up in here, a chap I know just got off the phone with an employee of the club who said Brek Shea to Toronto is go. The word 'loan' was used, but the name was not - just a USMNT player with Stoke.
Take this for what it's worth - just a guy who knows a guy who talked to guy who said it's done.
hmm...
but IMO it would be worth it to see the meltdown around the league. hashtag superclub
With the recent comments from Bez and now this, Brek Shea just became an intriguing possibility. I would welcome his addition to the club.
Shea cost stoke city 4 million in a January transfer window but really hasn't had many starts at all... He would be a good piece on the wing but he wouldn't be the star or captain here and he wouldn't be taking penalty kicks... Shea-Bradley-Osorio-Jackson, wow pretty solid midfield with Defoe and Gilberto up top and Dero on the bench... Still wouldn't be overly happy with the back 4 though although Orr locked better although in a different position.
Is Brek Shea really still in the USMNT picture? Don't think he's been called up for a while has he? Not sure this is a good move, although I thought he was fantastic before he left MLS. I would love to see the league reaction though too.....
No he's not, no chance he makes the World Cup squad at all. I think a move back to MLS would probably be the best thing for his career at this point. It would be a risk but the potential rewards would be huge, if he could get back into the form he was in before leaving.
jesus, id love for this to happen. definitely offer some offensive depth
He's not a particularly smart player or very skilled. Has a lot of pace and is physical. I don't know. Who makes way?
This could make sense. I actually really like our mix of wide players right now but we're going to take a hit when the WC comes. Especially if Defoe is gone too. Shea could be a good fit since Jackson can also play DM and Issey AM if need be. With the WC players gone we can still play a effective 4411 in varying combinations.
