Yep. Last year got a voucher with the ticket package. They let me get long sleeve last year but it's technically a short sleeve they allow. I sweet talked the girl at Real Sports and she made an exception.

    UPDATE:

Packages have arrived and no voucher. apparently mailed on it's own.

The message from the team's front office? Crew President Mark McCullers encouraged fans to choose TWC as their cable provider. That was it.
Sounds like something Lieweke might say. Deal with it.

The weird thing I don't understand is Houston has a TWC deal too but without the blackout provision. Columbus FO just didn't care or got jammed on the negotiations.

Yeah - we bitched about games being shown on Gol TV, but at least we were never completely blacked out. This is Bill Wirtz stuff.

Maybe they're paving the way out of town, much like :

Check out fifa.com right now. TFC (and MLS) are a front page story.

Ha ha, "Toronoto" in the article...

    And OOPS: "
Toronoto - one of the league’s two Canada-based outfits" -- wow quality writing & fact-checking!

Although Toronoto - one of the league’s two Canada-based outfits - will not feature in the league’s opening weekend, plenty of expectation surrounds a team that has reportedly spent over $100m USD during the off-season on the likes of Bradley, Defoe and Julio Cesar. All of these purchases have been made in an attempt to right the ship after coach Ryan Nelsen guided the team through a rocky 2013 season that saw the club win six games, draw 17 and lose 17.

Not bad, 3 errors in two paragraphs!

Soooo, another thing TFC can be thankful about that they're not playing this weekend.

A 75 mile blackout zone on MLS live for away games?!?!

And the marketing guy suggested they could follow games on social media.

Did they hire the former TFC head office team?

Edit: Just noticed that the banner on their twitter page has the owner on it.

"Failure simply isn't an option at this stage. TFC pushed its chips to the middle of the table when it splurged on Bradley and Defoe and reinforced its bet by making savvy acquisitions elsewhere. This collection of players is capable of delivering on the promises made during the close season. There are no more excuses available for TFC. Only success will continue the process of atoning for the past and establishing a higher standard for the future." FOX Sports

MLS season preview: Can revamped Toronto FC live up to hype?

Major League Soccer kicks off its 19th season with TFC’s transformation just one of many interesting storylines to watch.

Soccer experts across the continent are anxious to see TFC in action; ESPN analyst
Alexi Lalas even said on Twitter that the season doesn't start for him until TFC plays.

Sorry, Denime. I Don't mean to take the wind out of your Saturday morning news clippings.

Post The tone in this one is a bit more depressing

Toronto FC plagued with injuries as MLS season kicks off

Bradley, who skipped U.S. international duty this week because of a foot issue, was at practice Friday -- wrapped in "cotton wool," according to Nelsen as team officials checked him out.
    .........
A 1-2-2 record in pre-season showed the Kiwi boss that his new-look team can look pretty good when healthy. But injuries have exposed a lack of depth.
Those injuries may delay Nelsen's choice of who to send down to their minor league affiliate in Wilmington, N.C.
"It depends on how many healthy bodies we have. At the moment we can't really afford to move anybody," he said.
