I just hope this doesn't come back to bite us like so many others have. Laba is going to be a very good player. Hopefully he's not with the Caps too long before Europe comes calling.

Go read Larsun's article with updated specifics outlined by Bez. IN a nutshell, all signs point to there being provisions in place that will make him an expensive signing after this season for Vancouver and he will most likely return. If they do buy however, then we will gain a lot of money to use going forward.
It was mentioned that Vancouver is essentially using him as a "free" rental player for the year (paraphrased).
I still think it's far from clear what will actually happen, and it's far from certain he'll be back at TFC. But if mods want to close the thread, that's cool.
