I am fine with Dero coming in. That said, this line from the Wheeler story cracked me up:

"....teammates glowed when speaking about 'The General's presence already in camp. De Rosario even spoke about meeting with Bradley and captain Steven Caldwell about direction and leadership."

If he's the general, then I'm thinking Downsview is his Elba.

Hope we hear something about Julio Cesar soon. At the very least, would be nice if he could be with the team before our next preseason match. I'm giddy for this season to start - March 15 can't come soon enough!

Haven't we had a Julio Cesar or two already, or am I going crazy? Can't keep track of this revolving door.

just one. he was released without a game played last season

    Will Laba Remain In Toronto?

When I was going on the TFC site yesterday this came up for a few seconds with a picture of Laba and disappeared - i kept trying to refresh it to see if it would come up again - intriguing headline...

I actually think his spot in the WC is more or less secured. People talk about Lambert and Lallana and their decent seasons but Jermain's value off the bench and his record for England can't be understated.

I think Welbeck's place is also less secure than it looked a few months ago.

Maybe the loan can't happen until the summer window. Can Laba just stay and play reserve football after March 1, until a loan gets figured out?

no. Laba cannot be registered with TFC by 1 Mar or else TFC loses him via waiver draft

OK, it actually is well-written and a well-chosen topic.

    Great article.

So, for everyone to accomplish their personal goals in 2014, we need to score 150 goals. No problem.

    I liked it.

The hulking Toronto forward earned his second cap with Nigeria
And I think Dike should now be known as the HULK forever more.

    Queue the Tifo's!

Dike called in to Nigeria camp for March 5 friendly vs Mexico in Atlanta. His last chance to impress the coach directly before final World Cup camp.
