Now we can't afford Joe Bendik's raise to $65k. Looks like it's ramen for him!

Bendik already got his raise, according to couple of reports

according to the article posted, the main reason QPR want to do this is to get his salary off the books...how can we pay it?

Even if TFC takes on 10% of Cesar's salary, it's a win for QPR. no other takers now that Jan transfer window is gone.

any playing time is basically puts Cesar on the window for teams to have a look come June

That'd give us the MLS lead in all-time roster players named Julio Cesar

Still plenty more we can do

Ok so do we have the International spot for him?

Obviously Roberts is heading to Wilmington with a bunch of the Canadian kids I'm assuming... so that takes care of the needless number of keepers issue.

Elmer is likely gone but can we say Laba is gone too? Or is Dike getting his move?

Or do we have more international slots from some place?

Dike is not moving. How can he justify going elsewhere to increase his WC chances when Cesar is coming here for the same reason!

We can always trade for international spots too... there are options. Elmer and Lambe have marks on them IMO. Laba maybe the guy who makes way if we have to loan him for the year. Will be interesting to see this all go down in the next few weeks.

Could Laba go to QPR in exchange?

Me thinks Elmer and/or Lambe are on the way out to free up international slots.

I was thinking this makes sense - the only thing is Laba would have to go out for the whole year, and Cesar may only be here until the WC... still, if they make this happen, brilliant

Since we're discussing more than Cesar, let's continue the discussion in the Off-Season thread, that will cut it down to two threads (News + Off-Season) where he is being discussed.
