I'm just going to enjoy this last season at BMO as we know it. We actually have a chance to be successful on the pitch this season, and I'm going to try not to let other stuff get in the way of that.

Huh? All I am saying that you need a better coaching staff if you're going to have "world class" players on your club. Tim Lewieke is taking a big risk having a second year coach managing this team.
As for academy, we have no one that actually has any real experience before taking the job at academy.
There's a lot of work still needs to be done to build this club, but yet, we are more concern about rebuilding a stadium owned by the city and have to share with CFL team that comes with tons of baggage that will affect pitch and stands. If we're going to spend $120 million, then we might as well build a new stadium and ditch BMO field.
Yes, it is unfortunate, but I for one am not going to let the proposed renovation project dampen my revamped enthusiasm for this club. We have assurances from our CEO and some established points of reference that indicate that ground sharing should work, and we will have a world class venue in the near future.
If the hybrid pitch will hold up and the there will be no trace of gridiron lines as promised, I really look forward to watching TFC matches at the renovated stadium.
umm what?
Yep no experience. Add on Dichio taking his licencing from the French Football Federation as well and has already shown that he can develop players out of the academy system.FC Assistant GM and Academy Director
GREG VANNEYGreg Vanney joins Toronto FC after most recently serving as the head coach for LA Galaxy’s U-14 Academy side and Technical Director of the LA Galaxy partner club LA Galaxy South Bay. He is also currently taking part in the Elite Formation Coaching Licence program, a development course partnered by Major League Soccer (MLS) and the French Football Federation. Vanney holds a USSF “A” Coaching License and has been involved with the U.S. Soccer Development Academy.
Vanney previously held titles of Director of Soccer Operations and Director of Real Salt Lake-Arizona Youth Academy at Grande Sports World. It was there that he oversaw program and business development at the Grande Sports World facility. Vanney, Grande Sports World, and Real Salt Lake were responsible for creation of the first MLS Residential Academy in the United States, which began play in the Fall of 2010. Vanney also held a dual role at Chivas USA from 2011-2012 as assistant coach under Robin Fraser and technical director of the youth academy.
Dichio is also the big voice that is bringing in new age groups to the academy system all the way to a under 8 team.

The silver lining is that the stadium will still be configured to accommodate soccer first and foremost, and the sightlines won't be affected.
So, what else did they talk about on PTS?
The natural state of the football fan is bitter disappointment, no matter what the score.
Nick Hornby
Mind you, he was a kid supporting Arsenal in the 70's in their thump the ball and chase it until you back pass glory. Would be a bit different to be a 12 year old following Man City right now (well, apart from not being able to go to a match because of the ticket price). Darn it all, I'm even disappointed in my equivocation of a quote on being bitterly disappointed.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Soccer-specific_stadium
If it is designed for Soccer as it's primary function and a solution is provided for the CFL with any seating loss happening for the CFL not MLS then it is still soccer specific.
