Wondering if I coudl call upn the Anorak's here. .

How successful (Other than Maurice EdU) has TFC been in the draft?
Who would be stand out contributors that have come from the draft system?
NOTICE: Wager with STB: OVER 2 shots on goal in the First half wins a Pint at HT.

Nelson tempering expectations a bit. Makes sense.
Not having been hired by the current regime, I expect he'll be on the hot seat quickly if for some reason they have a poor start.

if Nelsen screws up and Seattle either doesn't win Supporter's Shield or a deep playoff run, expect fat Sigi to be TFC manager for 2015

I go about the world, hand outstretched, and in the stadiums I plead: ‘A pretty move, for the love of God.’

Frei and Cronin come to mind. Other than that, pretty slim pickings. Jury still out on Bekker of course.

Joao Plata, Luis Silva, and Brian Edwards as decent.

On related note, look how strong the 2009 draft was

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2009_MLS_SuperDraft

Zakuani, Cronin, Gonzalez, Marosevic, Rodney Wallace, Pontius, Besler, Alston, Frei, George John, DeLaGarza, Kocic, Zusi (23rd pick!!!!), & Danny Cruz.

edit - just for fun, I think this team stacks up well for a single draft glass

    ---------------Zakuani
    Zusi-------Pontius-------Cruz
    ----------Cronin----John
    Wallace--Besler--Gonzalez--Alston
    --------------Frei

    Bench:
Kocic, DeLaGarza, Marosevic, Husidic, Hall, Grella
