Unconfirmed but it's on twitter so it has to be true. Eric Hassli has signed with NASL San Antonio Scorpions. (!)
As noted before, Julius James is there too.
edit: now confirmed

looking at the bright side
its good we have a league that these almost good enough for MLSers can go and improve their game or help others improve theirs

Rumours say IMFC's mystery DP is Ignacio Piatti who plays for San Lorenzo
“Years have gone by and I’ve finally learned to accept myself for who I am: a beggar for good football.
I go about the world, hand outstretched, and in the stadiums I plead: ‘A pretty move, for the love of God.’
And when good football happens, I give thanks for the miracle and I don’t give a damn which team or country performs it.”

Talking with Montreal Impact fans they are pissed, they thought they were getting Pablo Piatti... the younger better version. Though this could be because they have witnessed how spoiled TFC fans have been
Kleberson, last seen on loan at Philly Union, signed for NASL Indy Eleven.
Say what you will about these ex-MLSers going to NASL but this will help bring up the playing quality overall in that league.
^Not only an ex-MLSer, but a former World Cup winner playing in the NASL.
Based Twellman is reporting Jack McInerney is heading to Montreal for Andrew Wenger "and more". That better be some significant "more" otherwise Philadelphia is getting fleeced.
A straight swap, Wenger for McInerney. Nowak has lost his marbles.
Salary dump would be my first guess. How Montreal didn't pick up more strikers in the offseason still baffles me.
I think Philly thinks they know how to get the best out of Wenger. He has offensive and defensive player awards in college so why the Impact constantly played him as a no. 9 is baffling. If Philly plays a 4-3-3, they may see him out wide or fullback.
Absolutely lopsided trade for Montreal. What a shitty deal for Philly.
Amazed there wasn't even allocation or draft picks with the deal. Union supporters are probably losing there minds.

Philly has to see something that no one else does in Wenger. If there isn't more to this, Montreal just robbed them.

Is Wenger still on Generation Addidas contract?
Either way McInerney is 2 years younger and has double the professional game experience. He seemed to struggle 2nd half of last season but was off to good start this year.
Don't know what Philly is thinking, maybe tehre was a fallout? Maybe they have some masterplan with Wenger converting him back to a defender or something ???
Wenger no longer Gen Adidas. Saw some chit-chat that indicates maybe fallout was part of causing the move.
If there were no Garber Bux included with this, have to wonder about this, very unfavorable trade for Philly.
My guess is Philly doesn't believe it can afford him, so might as well get what they can for him now instead of losing him for nothing.
Right, my mistake.
Even with McInerney potentially leaving MLS, Philly couldn't have gotten some kind of kicker? Allocation, draft pick, anything? I personally think Wenger is going to flame out in this league so even the worst case scenario for Montreal (getting the rest of the season with McInerney and then he's gone) is a win for them in my book.
Well... Here's the quote from phily:
"[Wenger] is more of a prototypical No. 9 than Jack was or is. That’s where we see him. But he is versatile enough, which we really like. You could put him on the left or right, or drop him into the midfield, and he’d be effective.”
Personally, I just think he's awful. Movement off the ball is horrid and play on it not exceedingly special.
Multiple sources reporting David Villa to NYCFC on a 3 year contract.
Villa would wreck this league. Wow!
Timbers traded Danso to Montreal today for a pick.

Club is in dire need of CB help. Taylor Twellman says they have an offer on the table for Lescott.

This is going to be a very interesting summer for MLS teams.
Lampard to NYCFC looks to be a done deal.
