That article is far from reality of the situation as it currently is and has been slammed by TFC beat reporters and supporters for being a really bad piece of journalism.

Hmmm. So we've been shit, have no history and haven't done anything. Tell us something we don't know. I'm pretty sure none of us have forgotten this, having lived each agonizing moment for the past seven years. But what's been done this off-season is certainly enough to turn around even some of the most cynical Toronto supporters. I know that I am feeling hope for the first time in many years and I actually feel positive toward TFC, rather than slightly sick to my stomach.

^ I was going to say almost the same thing ( no one on this forum needs to be reminded of TFC short falls). You have to feel hope, and whatever happens the FO has shown they are serious about winning. These are serious good signing. And as I said in another thread getting a player like Bradley at 26 is unheard of in this league.
I do want to ask, is weiderman still the best finisher on this team, or will this honour go to Defoe?

Defoe is a great striker, 5th on the list of active Premiership players. But Wiedeman is the best finisher of the modern era. ;-)
