So now that we got Gilberto, I honestly think Gilardino would be better than Dafoe and this is coming from a guy who doesn't really like Gila all that much but have seen him play tons of times.
Pros- he is awesome at holding up the ball and can hold it long enough for support to come. Especially if we got good width and speed, he can be useful.
- He is a finisher, the guy can score period.
-He is really good in the air
-Very good at making runs and knows where to be, pure poacher. But we need a guy that can pass to give him service
Cons- he will cost a lot to get him off Genoa (having a good yr)
- he isn't a fast or quick player
-not the best guys at 1 vs 1 with defenders, he depends on his instincts and where to be in the box
tehy havent sent it out to media yet... I was hearing maybe today but time is ticking.

The sad news is that apparently Duane Rollins drove by exhibition earlier and there was nothing to indicate preparations for a press conference.

I'm starting to thing our "A" type DP won't even be Defoe OR Gilardinho... Not saying we haven't been working on those guys at all, but i'm starting to get the feeling that these guys are both distractions, so they can work on their real target without the media ruining their chances (as we have seen so many times before)...

If Kelly has the inside story (which he seems to have), I'd believe him that it's either Defoe or Gilardinho. Most likely the latter to partner Gibertino up front.

Gilberto mostly not happening this week most likely due to ITC.
That hasn't stopped an announcement in the past. Usually "the player is elegible for selection upon receipt of his ITC..."

guy had no heart for shirt he wore...was always laughing it up after the game with players from the other team after we blew it late or loss...was first off the pitch other times...was half way down the tunnel after the final game of the season until someone dragged him back out to join the rest of the team as they came over to thank the supporters
