Maybe they should have. Especially when they knew they weren't getting their first few choices and their eventual selection was there the whole time. We're not talking Nathan Sturgis here, it's fucking Camilo.

you'd think it's a no brainer, but you don't want to handicap a new manager either.

That's a bit of an exaggeration, isn't it? Like you said, Miller's contract expires soon plus they just brought in this new guy.

How could Reggie be released when the Reds are in such need of depth?

Interesting.....does that now leave us with 2 free international spots? Must be something incoming as no real need to release Lambe other than freeing up his Int'l spot. Since we already had one free from Laba does that mean 2 internationals coming in?

wonder if needed any space to officially sign draft picks. if not, i have to think someone requiring an international slot will be coming in shortly.

It's gotta be for freeing up an international spot IMO.

this is would be done for giving deals to the two unsigned drafts and both would be for the off budget 21-30 slots.

    Nakajima-Farran incoming maybe?

Lambe had 3 years here to at least show promise, but he's never managed it. Good move.

He and the club had a "mutual parting of ways" about a month ago.

We currently only have 25 roster spots filled. That could go down to 22 if the three teenagers are sent to Willmington. Wonder if they are planning to sign Lovitz or Eze?

Well I'm not hating it and this should save my vocals chords the occasional workout of "the ________ net's the other way. Turn the f*ck around and run for f*ck sakes!"

But really, we need some help and he isn't going to help nothing, ever.

I wouldn't call Lambe solid or part of the core. Peripheral warm body on the cheap at best.

That is the core. We have like 3 starters from last year. My point really is that we have no core from last year and this has been a complete rebuild of the team.

When a team is a sh*t as we've been and was failing at almost every position then a roster overhaul is basically the only thing that will help. You can only hang on to core members like Lambe, Russell, and Braun for as long as you want to be a bottom 4 squad.

    On to the new core.

I would think, and hope, that it would be Issey coming in. Issey should be making the same amount of money and we get the international spot for a striker.

I didn't mind having Lambe around but not as an international player.

I still expect more forward movement from my wingers though. He had his back to the opponent's goal or was running towards ours 90% of the time. He killed all forward momentum whenever he touched the ball. You add him to Hall and you got one midfielder stalling play in midfield after having a counter attacking possibility and the other one supplying the other team with counter attacking possibilities with short and pointless passes.

Highly unlikely but I would love to see Camilo suit up for the reds.
