Jackson is a domestic?
Jackson is a domestic?
From wikipedia:
On August 13, 2010, FC Dallas of Major League Soccer signed Jackson on loan from Brazilian first division side São Paulo FC.
So I think that means he was green card eligible since last year.
Caccia is just the kind on CF that can play the classic CF (Prima Punta) roles, with Gilberto and Defoe playing off him.
Jackson doesn't have a green card. He takes up a slot.
All 9 of our Int'l spots are in use.
Caldwell, Elmer, Ecks, Laba, Lambe, Jackson, Rey, Defoe, Gilberto
We know Ecks will be gone, so that frees up 1 spot.
I could also see at least one of Elmer and/or Lambe going as well.
(Lambe is kind of surplus behind Rey and Jackson...assuming Laba stays)
We also have all those picks in next years draft. I'm sure we could find a team in the league to trade one to for an Int'l spot if we really needed to.

Video of Hellas Verona Serie B season 2012/13. They got promoted. Cacia is number 8. Scored 19 goals that year.
This seems really unlikely to me. What are the chances he'd sign for under $200,000?
@sofianebenzaza: About Cacia, hearing that Cacia did receive an offer from #TFC but salary not meeting his requirements #MLS
Question: Do we have a Convey replacement? Is that supposed to be Jackson or moving Osorio to the wing or something else entirely?
IS anyone here surprised by LAG's signing of Rob Friend?
I just saw it now, I'm a bit late, but. . . . really?
The LA Galaxy made their second major offseason move to bolster their offensive firepower on Monday, adding longtime European pro and former Canadian international striker Rob Friend.
NOTICE: Wager with STB: OVER 2 shots on goal in the First half wins a Pint at HT.
Is this a prediction thread?
I'm calling we win the mls cup. jan 16, 2014 2pm.
Has anyone heard anything about ticket allotments for the Newell's Old Boys friendly this Spring?
Not sure how legit this is, but...
@MLSTransfers (annonymous MLS rumour twitter account) says Jeremy Hall has interest from overseas. Norway.
Interesting...
Stay away from our midfield, Bob Bradley.
"@NeilMDavidson: Ryan Nelson on depth at right fullback: Stay tuned. #TorontoFC"
Looks like we'll be bringing in another RB afterall...
How are we at left back though? I hope we aren't relying on Morgan to keep up with the big boys full time.
“Years have gone by and I’ve finally learned to accept myself for who I am: a beggar for good football.
I go about the world, hand outstretched, and in the stadiums I plead: ‘A pretty move, for the love of God.’
And when good football happens, I give thanks for the miracle and I don’t give a damn which team or country performs it.”
