IF we got Bradley, he would likely be the best player we ever had. At his age, we are talking 7-10 years of consistent quality quiet midfield play. Captain when Caldwell leaves. And watching him with Roma, he'd be our midfield general.

Considering the massive amount of reports and confirmations from many sources that have come out in the past hour, there's obviously some very real substance to this rumour.

    What an off-season it's been.

If Bradley comes as DP, he'll bypass allocation order.

Ideal scenario would be if Garber waves his magic wand and either: a) fudges some numbers so that Laba is no longer a DP or b) invents a rule that allows 4 DPs if one of them is a Young DP.

Hoping Laba can be bought down with allocation. Does anyone have a clue what kind of money he's one? I'm not buying that $200k plus transfer fee nonsense. Although if that were the case, would the transfer fee only count on the first year of salary?

transfer fee is amortized evenly over the length of the contract

Figured that was the case. If we get the rules changed for us it will be a little off putting. I don't like it when it happens for LA and it wont like it when it happens for us.

From what I can see, most of the stuff is sourced back to Twellman's tweet (not all of it, as there's the announcement about him leaving Roma for 7m euros which doesn't mention a team).

Ok now someone really does need to strap on the blades and hit Pearson on Monday.

edit: ^ There's also Lalas and Wileman independently confirming our interest.

There was talk of this before Twellman's tweet though. Can't be coincidence.

Yeah. As a result of Twellman's tweet

Interest is great, but I'd like them to confirm Bradley's signature on a contract!

If only because the shortest path is the most logical path, I'd say Laba gets moved out to free the slot. Who has the spare slot and $ to get him?

If/when this goes through, we can say we literally slapped every mls team in the face with a stack of 100$ bills.

Someone mentioned Laba wasn't a DP this year? What was that about?

Why are these rules so fucking hard to follow!

I don't want Bradley unless it's a package deal that includes this announcer

This is all craziness. Now if I was living in a cave for a couple months and I surfaced to see TFC had signed (or are possibly signing) the likes of Jackson, DeRo, Gilberto, Defoe, Morrow, and Bradley then I'd do a spit take like the bald dude in that Youtube video too. And then had back down into my cave as the world must be ending soon.
