“Years have gone by and I’ve finally learned to accept myself for who I am: a beggar for good football.
I go about the world, hand outstretched, and in the stadiums I plead: ‘A pretty move, for the love of God.’
And when good football happens, I give thanks for the miracle and I don’t give a damn which team or country performs it.”

Conor Doyle to DCU now permanent. He looked decent on a terrible DC team

NYCFC recently had to postpone a fan voting contest for their new logo when the New York Yankees, part owners of the team, felt that one of the two logos - an in house design, BTW - was too similar to their interlocking NY trademark.

Makin' Don Garber look real good there.
TORONTO FC, 2017 MLS CHAMPIONS!!! (Still the greatest in league history!)

MLS using away goals in two-legged playoff ties this year. Does not apply to extra time of the 2nd leg.
http://pressbox.mlssoccer.com/conten...nd-regulations
Also, salary cap this year is $3.1 million, max DP budget charge is $387,500 and the Clint Dempsey rule is official: "Designated Players of a certain threshold – as determined by the League – are not subject to allocation ranking".
Also the tiebreaker list order has changed - 1st is still Most Wins but 2nd is now Goal Differential instead of Goals For (now 3rd). There are other changes down the list but rarely do those have to be looked at.
I don't know about you guys but I am happy with the away goals rule. The comments on MLSsoccer however tend to be in favour of not having it in place. It must be a yank thing...
I don't particularly like it. This idea that "it's so hard to score away from home, so that should be the tiebreaker" is totally misplaced. It's also hard to defend on the road, so why not make the first tiebreaker goals conceded away from home?
To me, it looks like someone got the misplaced idea that this would somehow lead to more attractive football and teams would stop parking the bus. It does the exact opposite and you have really stupid situations where a nil-nil draw at home is considered not a half bad result because you didn't give up an away goal. Ridiculous.
Yanks naturally hate anything that is "borrowed" from either Canada or Europe. Or rather, if they feel it is since this isn't exactly "borrowed" from Europe as it is globally with FIFA. As you can see in many comments however, the term "eurosnobism" is being thrown around as that's their perception.
TLDR: The U-S-A! U-S-A! #1 mentality.
Pablo Mastroeni named head coach of Colorado. Bit Nelsen-like, he just retired at the end of last season.
NYCFC has narrowed the search for a club badge down to two options. It's now up to the supporters to decide.

Sporting KC colours either way..... Not original at all.
I voted for the one on the right.
TORONTO FC, 2017 MLS CHAMPIONS!!! (Still the greatest in league history!)
The one on the right is good. Either of them are ok. NYCFC has handled this logo PR fairly well, was able to keep things simmering with this, not really much else to talk about for them. Kreis is in Manchester, Reyna is doing whatever he's doing.
The stadium stuff though...ugh. After making so much noise about being the team in the 5 boroughs, they probably will have a temp stadium way out in the burbs. Playing a regular schedule at NYY Stadium was far fetched.

Simple crests but I could see them selling a ton of jerseys because of it.
Reading the comments on the MLS link and elsewhere, I'd have to say the circle logo on the right is leading by a huge margin.
