Sucks. But at least Sportsnet has the stream. There was a time we didn't even get that.

I want to echo this, with a special emphasis on those of whom go out of their way to make sure to highlight anything CMNT related, as well.

    Thanks, all.

another pathetic showing by CMNT. 3-0 to Australia who got spanked 6-0 by France in their last game.

Would you like Bob Bradley as coach? I would like to think TL has this guy in his back pocket should Nelsen fail to deliver, I for one wouldn't mind him as our coach considering if would help attract domestics.

Were you expecting better? That would have been my odds-on score for this matchup. There is a huge talent void at the national team level right now, even more than usual. It's only being compounded by the fact other teams in our region are improving a lot faster than we are.

It's a top shelf hire, for sure. A lot of open speculation on this one, I wonder if there is any truth to it? Leiweke has shown himself to be pretty shrewd, can Nelsen really be in his plans?

Canada looked really good in the first half but the second half shows how much of a lack of depth there is with this team. I thought Dero, Edgar and de Jong all played pretty good. It was unfortunate that I was surrounded by so many Australians and the Canadians that did show, really had no interest in football (at least the ones sitting by me).

Glad to hear you got to the game!

I agree the first half was a good effort but who's to say Oz would play that way if they weren't up 1 in as many minutes?

I've accepted the fact that Canada won't have a competitive team until 2017 or so. No, I don't think we will make WC 2018, based upon the players up and coming right now.

But I expected a bit better from Canada against Oz... who weren't that much better than Canada, but they were clinical when they had to be, and more importantly, played with more heart than Canada overall. And didn't run around like chicken with heads cut off (esp you, Kyle Bekker).

Leiweke jeopardize his credibility if he fires Nelsen before 2014 season. After public backing of Nelsen, if he fires him, then what good is his word worth?
