For those keeping an eye on the games today...

    TEAM-STANDINGS TIE-BREAKING PROCEDURES

The team awarded the highest position in the MLS standings will be the team with the greatest number of points (three points for a win, one point for a tie, zero points for a loss). In the event that two teams finish the regular season with an equal number of points, the following system will be used to break the tie:

When two or more teams are tied in the standings on points (3points for a win, 1 point for a draw, 0 points for a loss), the following tiebreakers will be used in the sequence below, until one team ranks ahead of the other(s):

    1. Most Wins
    2. Goals For (See column labeled GF on www.MLSsoccer.com/standings page)
    3. Goal Differential (GD)
    4. Fewest Disciplinary Points
    5. Road Goals
    6. Road Goal Differential
    7. Home Goals
    8. Home Goal Differential

    9. Coin Toss (2 teams) or Drawing of Lots (3 or more)
O, Maple Leaf around the world, You speak as you rise high above,
Of courage, peace and quiet strength, Of the Canada that I love.
Remind us all, our union bound by ties we cannot sever,
Bright flag revered on every ground, The Maple Leaf forever

Standings are updated in real time factoring in each goal scored.

Check it out right now to see Montreal below the red line. I have a feeling they'll be above it by the time the night's through.

Not as much as we are!

Or will be, in my case...I'm at work, just waiting for my replacement who should get here any minute now.

Got some Naughty Neighbour from a brewery in Burlington...a superior brew.

I got mine near where I work in Brampton. I used to have to go to the brewery in Burlington to get it. It's still worthwhile going, though...you can get samples!
