That means the Impact have, at the best, a game away to Houston on Hallowe'en.

5 goals difference lucky
Great atmosphere in New Jersey at Red Bull Arena the place is rocking good to see the New York area finally coming out and bringing the support the Red Bulls should having been getting from the first day this beautiful soccer stadium opened. For my money Red Bull Arena and Kansas City's stadiums are the best by far in the league it's not even up for discussion. Furthermore, of course the Red Bulls want this game, with a win they win the Supporters Shield, their first ever trophy since New York got into MLS and they would get the MLS Cup in their own stadium at Red Bull Arena were they to make it to the final, the MLS Cup.
4-1 NY are rampant tonight, unstoppable !!!
4-1 NY
Well, it's been a fun Sunday.
Saputo not going to fire Schallibaum
“Years have gone by and I’ve finally learned to accept myself for who I am: a beggar for good football.
I go about the world, hand outstretched, and in the stadiums I plead: ‘A pretty move, for the love of God.’
And when good football happens, I give thanks for the miracle and I don’t give a damn which team or country performs it.”

Fucking NY couldn't cooperate. Never seen a more undeserving team make the playoffs like Montreal. Can't wait to see them get there asses handed to them by Houston.
So, we're the only team in MLS never to make the playoffs, big deal.
5-1.
How does this compare to our 5-0 loss againt NY to make the playoffs in 2009?
Imagine if Mike Magee scored the penalty against Montreal in Chicago a few weeks ago.

NYRB legend Mike Petke wins the Supporter's Shield. NY exorcises 18 yrs of trophyless seasons.

5-2 it's the big come back with 4 min to go
How does Montreal make the playoffs you ask, well by winning more games than they lost, they are over 500, something TFC has never had a winning record over 500 in 7 fucking bloody seasons! That's fucking how, winning games early in the season not being out of the playoffs by fucking July most seasons, that is how people!
Klopas might get fired for that. Their bad start is on him. As is this loss in a must win game.
What I would give for even the Play in game people!
Watching Petke speak to NY supporters after the game, well, this is why we wait all these years for moments like what NY supporters enjoy tonight.
We will get our nights like these, one of these days

I hope so, but these past 7 years has left a lot of carnage along the way, it just pisses me off that with just a little better decisions along the way it did not have to be that way for the past 7 years, I just can't get over the total missmanagement these past 7 years it's incredible, it will take some time for myself and many many soccer fans in this city to trust this organization again it will take time a lot of time for many.
Yup, NY turned it around, we could do the same. One day.
Well done NY, that place will be rocking tonight !!!!
Really liked the coverage. Glad to see the shield in NY, I think that might be a first. Great to see all the players warning each other about how heavy it is
