Default I'm ready to proclaim Urruti a bust

Apparently a journalist said he hit the wood work from 5 yards out at KTG.

Also, word has it that he had a poor first touch in practice and is using international travel as an excuse.

I declare this thread a bust, there has even been not one reference to the Silva trade. Does anyone even care about football any more?

Ya, I'd rather take my chances on Mista again (any chance he can come out of retirement?) than this guy.

I think we should just loan him. I want to see more of Braun.

The first training session the guy has with us, in a new country, with all new players and coaches who speak a different language, with little sleep and long travel, and rust from having over a month off after the cup loss. Yup, he's a bust.

I Think we should cut our losses. We might have to eat some of his cap hit, but I wonder if we could maybe get a supplemental draft pick for him.

Have you ever had to travel international and preform immediately the next day? As someone who has traveled around the world playing music, I learned never to have shows booked the day you arrive. We were always shit. It takes few days to recover and adjust before you can preform at your best.

I don't trust most journalist's eyes to judge a player... so much more one who is willing to write off a just-arrived player who has been through exhausting travel.

If Urruti wants to usurp the greatest finisher of the modern era he'll have to do better than Weedman's goal per 125 minutes (including v cup). Urruti had a goal per 123 minutes between the copa libertadores and torneo final so it should be an epic battle.

But like Corpand said, we mustn't count out Braun.

But did he work hard??? Did he run all the time? When he hit the wood work did he fall on the ground and slap it out of frustration? Did he stay down for 2 to 3 minutes? if so those are the markings of a great striker.

I hear in training he took ten penalties and ONLY scored 9 of them! What a total flop! And that one penalty, he hit the post! the inside of the post, and the ball rolled along the line, and only just didn't go into the net! Crazy, he's clearly useless!

Well, after seeing the dramatic video of his name being ironed onto a shirt, I'm convinced he will tear this league apart!

Ah, sure the club says its official but have we seen him actually hold up that beautifully crested shirt? No? Well, under MLS rules he can still ask the Pope for an annulment, since the public relations act has not yet been performed by the player and the club.

Never mind. The obligatory shirt shot is complete. No turning back now, holmes.
