Welcome to the first team, Manny. Glad to see the academy providing opportunities to these kids.

both of those "fan" articles are a complete Sounders suck job. . . .
Yes we know where TFC was, and we know where the fan experience is currently. . . .
IS this supposed to motivate the supporters?

    ps.

What did this article have anything to do about making the fan experience better in Toronto?

One little paragraph about a roof, that's it. The rest was a huge rub and tug for Seattle, who don't play in a SSS with proper sightlines. How are they better off? A marching band? Come on really.

That article is a Trolljob. Look who we're playing this week and how great there march is? Piss off.

I find more interesting the fact that they pimp Seattle with a shared stadium and then say KC is the jewel with a SSS, then mention the reno's that may come to BMO. Reno the team first Thanks.

    And 91? It's been worse...

That article was by Neil Davidson who most people on here respect. Its actually a decent bit of journalism, given most people in Canada have no clue what a stadium atmosphere could be.

Its timely because of the Dempsey thing.

And,frankly, our atmosphere isn't as good as it could be and the more MLSE has to answer for that, the better.

Dempsey is a great acquisition for MLS. As a football fan I don't really understand your hate rant. He is a skilled hard working player who doesn't dive. I would have loved to see him come to TFC.

No transfers?? even with DP money offering players dont want to come here?? all that money off the salary cap...and now Silva is scoring for DC.
I think we need to exorcise BMO field! inject holy water in the sprinkler system, sacrifice a goat!! something to get this bad karma off...

    Oh its coming.

Kelly surely has something to come out in tomorrow morning's paper - probably a comparison piece to Seattle.

Larson is likely holding off until he is sure Urruti isn't coming for awhile.

Not to mention their fake crowd sound, much of which is piped in apparently. Man, I'm really starting to develop a major hate-on for Seattle, almost of Columbus-like proportions (as far as American MLS teams are concerned). Their plastic, latte-swilling, Pike Place fish-throwing fans. Now I know how Portland fans feel. Now those are the REAL supporters in MLS, worthy of setting the bar for us to exceed.

He's on an opposing team so we don't like him ..

Many of us would have loved to see him in a TFC shirt, but he's not, so we revert back to the fact he's on an opposing team

Dempsey was never realistically coming here anyway - we were only on his list as we're one of the few clubs who could actually afford him.

Here is a hint on how to improve fan experience-PLAY GOOD FOOTBALL. This pisses me off. I am sorry I believe payne wants to build a winning team first and foremost but coming from MLSE ( in light of its history) it pisses me off. Improve the product on the field, worry about that first.

Doesn't all of that allocation money we acquired expire at the end of the season?

Apparently not. If so, I'd like to know why the heck they've been building up a stash of it all season with nothing to show for it.

Most allocation money is good for 2-3 years. However, it all depends what "pool" it comes from. Funny money is funny indeed.

Good article. Thanks. We can always count on you.

Can you get your web guys to update their picture of Kevin Payne? They always use that one from last November and it's getting old.

New players are coming to Toronto.
Dempsey just signed for Seattle and they are in town this weekend. So really, he is telling the truth.
