Happy birthday Voodooman! And here's to the arrival of a raft of attacking players on your birthday! Although I'm not holding my breath on that one, unlike Nelsen.

wow, i would assume all pro athletes are able to throw a ball or swing a bat.

Looks like CR made a quite the stir, I wouldnt have thought he would have that kind of impact on pro baseball players and american movie stars.

    THE NEXT MLS DP?

Thank you. It's funny you say this, because that's exactly why I've been trying to write more of these stories lately - to give insight into players and tell their stories.

I want to thank you as well; i think these kinds of insights really help to foster a connection between the team and its fanbase who I'm finding are really intrigued about learning these kinds of personal details.

Any thoughts to possibly interviewing some of the foreign born players and what they think of the city, the club, the ownership/managment, the league, the travel, why they decided to come? - be nice to get an all-encompassing piece on thoughts from the perspective of players from the USA, south america and europe, and the nuances they like/dislike and maybe make comparisons on their diferent perspectives.

Thank you for the kinds words.

And yes, I am planning on writing something on the foreign born players (like Laba and Rey) to get their perspectives on living and working in a new country.

    Nice.

I hope Convey can be one of the North American pieces/players that we can build around.

At 30, he should have a good 5 years left in him.

I'm tired of the revolving door.
