I like what Messing said in that one article

"Thierry’s blown me away because he’s not afraid to take up the challenge of MLS – the challenge of teammates that aren’t up to his own capabilities."

Mind you he played like that with Arsenal - its just in his mindset that he is better then everybody else so he might as well get on with playing rather then being surprised when people don't do what he would like.

Its a version of "Give me the rock!"

    Smile on Game Day.....

I've come to realize that I, now more than ever before, have come to expect that we will have our asses handed to us. Despite this I'm still looking forward to the game. I'm not sure if this is some sort of Zen acceptance or masochism.
"Failure simply isn't an option at this stage. TFC pushed its chips to the middle of the table when it splurged on Bradley and Defoe and reinforced its bet by making savvy acquisitions elsewhere. This collection of players is capable of delivering on the promises made during the close season. There are no more excuses available for TFC. Only success will continue the process of atoning for the past and establishing a higher standard for the future." FOX Sports

    GAME DAY !

Nelsen: TFC will frighten rivals once salary cap is sorted

Toronto FC manager says team will scare MLS rivals with new signings soon

It is interesting how most are waiting for the "BIG" signings to turn things around. The only thing that will be for sure is that SSH prices will go up because ML$E will remind us of the "BIG" $ spent to improve the team! That could be scary!

Nelson must be smoking some good crack to make comments like that. The TFC has never been scary, and never will be,more like when teams play TFC its easy 3 points, Nelson you are in way over your head..

Nelsen needs to keep his mouth shut. Pronouncements like that make me believe he is completely unsuited to coaching a first team.

Agreed. He seems like a nice enough guy who genuinely wants to be a part of the new and improved TFC but he fails to appreciate the amount of bullshit we've been fed from this club.

Individually, all his comments aren't that bad...but as a group of comments, taking in to account our history, it makes me wanna scream. STFU and get on with it.

Aw - quit pickin' on Nellie - he is one of the bestest coaches I've seen in the modern era...!?
