I swore that if it was a nice day Saturday, I'd do something else. But now I'm thinking about actually going to this game. Why? Haven't the foggiest. Guess I'm just a glutton for punishment.

To be honest, I'm not very motivated to go to this game. We're definitely completely out of the play-off picture, and we haven't yet added any of the reinforcements promised to us. On the other hand I do want to see what shape our team is in after all the latest shenanigans surrounding the club. Would have been fun to go see one or two new players, but doubt that'll happen.

Heatwave will officially be over tomorrow, and they are promising a beautiful day. I'll go - but not so sure about the rest of the season. They're all meaningless at this point. It's just so sickening that yet again, before we get to August at least, we're completely out of the race.

I didn't feel like going either. I am going to go but the whole idea of seeing us get beat and shutout by NY isn't very appealing. At least there's extremely shitty overpriced beer to make up for it.

27 degrees and cloudy. Will be nice to at least be outside and not dying from the heat and humidity.

This heatwave, the cold I seem to have and the state of this team right now all tell me to stay home.

However, I seem to enoy the anguish and have only missed 2 TFC home games ever.....so, ya I will be there.

We can't control what happens on the field but we can control what happens in the stands. So to quote wedding crashers "no excuses play like a champ".

I know I will be in 127 tomorrow full voice hoping everyone around me is doing the same.

If the weather is nice, it's always fun to go.

But you'd have to pay me to watch this on TV.

Reason to go - Watching talented Henry and Cahill to tear up the league
Reason NOT to go - Watching talented Henry and Cahill to tear up the league

Can we move the poll choice of "dammit we're f***" over here?

Ryan Nelsen: We need to improve on our finishing.

Nelsen: Koevermans (calf) & Earnshaw (hamstring) out for Saturday's match.

Decent odds on NYRB to win. Based on TFC's recent form and lack of strikers, seems like a banker to me. Anyone actually think TFC can get a result here?

    ^ bingo!

Carts is right we just go back to having fun. Celebrating when we can and having a good time with good friends. Support the team no matter what. Results sure matter but in this case I'm pretty sure we owe them atleast some time to get there shit together.

    Santos - the first time.

Ever since then, everything seems possible, if not probable.

Agree "Pint". It is too bad our coach didn't get the memo . . . "no excuses, play like a champ"!

Been away in Scotland the last few weeks, so looking forward to a nice, hot, beer drinking afternoon with my pals, and hopefully TFC will give us something to cheer about, be competitive even if it is a loss or draw.

Looks like the TTC closure of the weekend will be the University line between St. George and St. Clair West - but with trains running from Downsview to St. Clair West.

I'd suggest anyone transiting that way, get off the subway at Eglinton West, and take the 63 Ossington Bus from Eglinton West station to the stadium (bus stops at Atlantic and Liberty, not far from the tunnel on Atlantic at the Exhibition GO station). It's about a 45-minute bus trip.

Win or loose !!! I just want to see them play like a team who wants to be out there and put in the effort needed to show that we belong in this league.

    Match today. Weather looks favourable.
Love him or hate him - Henry is one of the better football players still playing today.
We have the opportunity to see him in person in our house.

    Go TFC Go!

I would rather see Henry than Agbossoumonde paired with Caldwell in this game. Its an interesting match up, we might need Russell in the lineup just to compensate for Cahill. I'm not sure who will be our strikers, I'm guessing, Braun and Brockie, which would mean chances on goal, but not much on target. Too bad considering NYRB goalkeeper is their weakeness.

A 3-0 win for the NYRB seems like wishful thinking, it can easily be a 5-0 thumping. Its tough days.
