Chivas fire their coach. Check out the press release. Says it's "mutual" ... then goes on to say he sucked, and had no respect!

Early this morning, Vancouver Whitecaps FC reported a robbery - apparently their trophy case was broken into. Two suspects were last seen carrying a couple rolls of shelf liner.
How the heck do you re-injure a leg going through rehab?! Who's in charge of the training regimen over there? Something is not right about their program.
^That franchise has real value around here. It's the only group than can compete with MLSE in the "most effed up FO for the longest time" derby in MLS.

Still pretty possible to tweak the knee if it is the same one. The knee is really weak still and can re-injure easily since it hasn't been used in a while. Probably tweaked it while regaining the muscle strength in his leg I would guess.

MLS is a tough, physical league, that emphasizes speed, and features plastic fields, grueling travel, extreme weather, and incompetent refs. - NK Toronto
Sounds like Ecks could be out a while. It's sucks that we will have $600,000 of cap space out injured if both Koev's and Ecks are missing on Saturday. Add Frei, Russel, whoever else, we almost have a million sat on treatment tables. Is there any wonder that other teams all seem to have a better team that us?!

Think there just shooting it down too appear like there not involved.
Atleast there saying that they have the ability to sign a big cheque if they get the right guy.
If you think getting those four players back is going to make us competitive, you're in for a surprise. We're materially deficient in most areas of the pitch, still. Even if healthy, Ecks is likely our only fullback who could get a job on another team, and even that's shaky. None of our centre halves outside of Darren O'Dea could start elsewhere. None our midfielders outside Laba could start elsewhere, and in his current form, Earnshaw would probably be riding the bench.
So really, we have maybe -- maybe -- three or four players, including Koevs, who would start on other teams. Silva has the talent but may already be going down as "developed badly" for his two more formative years being here, and certainly right now seems to lack the requisite aggression to start day in and out. Caldwell it's too early to say; he looks good so far.
I know our issues are tatical as well as personnel, but it's hard to address the former until they fix the latter. Until we get some width, a couple of creative attacks and, most importantly, some players who win the damn ball, our injury issues aren't the only concern.
