Good thing this game starts after the Leafs game.

San Jose tied the weekend game vs. Montreal in injury time, goal by Sam Cronin. Late goals are standard fare for the Quakes. When playing TFC, expect a hat trick for San Jose between the 85th minute & the end of injury time. So as long as they're up by 4 goals before the 85th minute, no problem!

It's not like I've taken some big personal decision, but I doubt I'll be watching much TFC until the Leafs are done.

It doesn't matter - It's the Quakes (who always seem to find a way to score in the last 5 minutes) versus TFC (who always seem to find a way to allow a goal in the last 5 minutes).

It is pretty much guaranteed that TFC will lose N+1 to N, so I'm just going to enjoy the game for the first 80 minutes, then turn off the stream.

Yep. Another last min SJ goal for a share of points.

A little more optimism, despite a terrible TFC form. TFC is actually unbeaten in 3 games at Buck Shaw, with 2 wins and a draw. San Jose is also not in a good form, on a 6 game winless streak, though 5 of them are draws. SJ's defence leaks goals, and only Jon Busch playing like superhuman is keeping SJ in the game. And Alan Gordon and Big Bird are both suspende for this match.

Then again, the Goonies Jr Adam Jahn may be the value player of the year, being drafted in Supplemental draft but scoring some key goals for SJ already. And Wondo is a personal bogeyman for TFC, despite his not so great form scoring goals.

Anyone know when Eckersley might be back?

    ------------Bendik--------------
    Russell---Boss---O'Dea---Morgan
    Bostock---Hall---Laba----Ephraim
    -------------Silva---------------
    -----------Earnshaw------------

If I could I would bench Bostock, Ephriam and Lambe, but I can't, so Lambe draws the short stick simply because he's gotten the most starts of the three and none of them have done all that much. Don't really care what wide mids Nelsen puts out in the end.

Kinda tired of Richter at RB so I wouldn't mind seeing Russell have another shot. LB is pick your favorite shit sandwich, so again, don't care if Nelsen goes for Emory or Morgan.

Hope Earnshaw can get back on the scoresheet.

Even without our injuries returning we have this one won for a win. There is much to prove after recent performances. Silva and Earnshaw will pair up for 3 for the good guys and Bendik cannot stop 'em all so SJ gets 1 due to shitty communication between our defenders.

Fill your hearts with rage boys, we are down to our last rounds.

With Gordon and Lenhardt suspended? I don't think it'll be that out of reach... (knock on wood)

Harden, Gargan, Cronin and Attakora will all score, like all ex TFC players do when playing TFC

So what you're saying is: it's the team that always scores at the last minute, against the team that always gives up goals at the last minute?

But the problem is that in this case, it's a positive and a negative, therefore, they will not cancel each other out

I'm going to go out on a limb but I think we will draw 2-2 tomorrow night. SJ will get the late goal (or 2) but I think that we will be ahead and they grab the equilzer. I see us having an explosive first half!

There is the saying 'nothing more dangerous than a man with nothing to lose'

I think that is kind of the deal for TFC vs. SJ

Nobody expects them to win, they are not SUPPOSED to win, so they can just go out and play, no weight on their shoulders.

Anyway, I ALSO think they will likely be stomped, but who knows...
    WE DID IT!

I think we'll score. San Jose isn't the greatest defending team. Not sure we'll win though.

Reds are due for a goal with several chances gone begging in last 2 games. San Jose is equally inept offensively so let's hope a desperate cup final effort level from tfc will give the boys some relief for the next week. I am expecting the type of effort we saw in salt lake last year but hopefully not with that all to familiar heart breaking end.

If there is a night made for a Laba type destroyer, its tonight. Wondo is their lynch pin and cutting out stuff sent his way is what we need.

I'm just hoping we sit somebody in front of him and Hall this time. Playing 2 at the front on Saturday reduced our effectiveness. Silva to play back in AM, please.

why? Silva and Earnshaw linked up well. I don't think Nelsen is going to mess with that

Starting XI predictions anyone? I assume that neither Brockie or Caldwell would be available for selection due to paperwork/travel.

chemistry between the strikers is useless if you can't get them the ball. Our flat four midfield is way too static. We've only really looked good when playing with a diamond midfield because it creates more forward passing options, and more space for the central midfielders. I think for this game:

    ----------Bendik-----------
    Richter-Agboss-O'Dea-Emory
    -----------Laba------------
    --Hall-------------Bostock-
    -----------Silva------------
    ----Braun-------Earnshaw--
