Everyone knew he was done the moment he started Robert as striker over Cunningham in Chicago. If multiple signings have actually taken place, all that remains to be seen is can we get anything for him in trade value, and figure out who else will get the chop.
I hope this is true. I'm in need of some good news. More than that we need to get someone in place for Tuesday. It's the biggest game in club history and winning it will help attract other players. Come on MO!

According to Mo on "Extratime" the other night, they can't do anything until the McBride issue is ressolved, as they don't know what salary a guy they get from Chicago will take up.
I could see them releasing/trading Cunningham and bringing in a DP striker, but it makes little sense to squeeze in another "Big Name Striker", and then get a $200,000 player from Chicago, and have no room for him.
Still, I get excited hearing news like this...
