The Reds can come away with the victory at home. Mr. Earnshaw will have another flip in him for sure.

Gotta play to win at home. Id be happy with a draw, id be going crazy with a win.
Hoping that we can win 2-0 would be a good confidence builder.
With Houston on 12pts and Toronto on 6pts a win here would be a well earned steal off of Houston and help us charge up the standings.
We could have some fullback trouble this weekend. I don't know if we are going to appeal Morgan's red card or if we do, if it'll be successful, so I'll leave him out for now. Eckersley in all likelihood won't be back. If Emory can fill in at LB then we can keep put Richter at RB if Russell and Ecks can't go.

Time to give Bostock his shot at CF. I see the Braun-Earnshaw 4-4-2 combo as more of an away game tactic, where we're less likely to have a good amount of possession so we play more direct, which Braun is useful for. At home I want to see us try to impose ourselves on the game more, with less long balls and more build up, and Bostock in the hole will lend himself better to that. The alternative is to play Silva in the hole, start Bekker or Osorio in mid and use Bostock as an impact subsitution. Personally though, I'd start him.
A draw would be a good result against Houston.

You can't appeal yellow cards and Emory is fit again to play LB

I'd love a win but expect a draw. And that's only because we're home. Houston had some fun against Chicago on the weekend.
FORMER FULL TIME KOOL-AID DRINKER
2-0 loss.
Houston doesn't tend to make silly mistakes on defense as KC, Montreal and LA did when we played them. The Dynamo also know how to win so I don't see a FCD like collapse. I expect TFC to be the 2nd best team on the pitch by some margin in this game.

Although I predict 2-1 win for every game, I think that realistically we get stomped 3-1 or something painful.
On the plus side, Sky is doing player escort so maybe he meets Bruin. :-P
They have been beaten twice, both on the road - so it's not quite mission impossible (but it's close)...
A 1-1 or 2-2 draw and remaining unbeaten at home would be great (that's the heart talking) but the head is saying 2-0 loss We sit at 1-0 down and press-press-press and give up something late on the counter...
Now, IF we can pull out a tie - I prefer a late game tying goal scored, not conceded - please & thanks LOL...

FUCK Dallas, park the bus and count on our number 10 to get something on the counter. Any team can be beaten, particularly in this league. We need to turn this shit around. And it has to start by making BMO a fortress
I'm in the FUCK Dallas camp ^^ !
This is definitely the winning strategy going forward.

Nelsen cannot be pleased with how weak central midfielders were, unable to keep possession or generate offence. As much as I think Braun has been ok for TFC, gotta go 5 in mid, esp if Houston comes out 4-3-3 and tries to overrun the midfield, esp at FB. If Houston goes 3 CMs vs 2 TFC CMs, might as well be 3 vs 1 since Hall cannot pass for shit.

I'd agree with this. Isolates Hall as an anchor. I'd play Silva back flat as a central mid with two wide midfielders, instead of right in the hole, but otherwise basically the same. Houston has a stay-at-home, disciplined defense. In MLS you really need two attackers in the box to pull the central defenders out of position; Earnshaw can do that with movement and Braun by holding up the ball, Silva can come up and support attack. Works for me.
Weather forecast for Saturday is horrible.

I seem to remember people talking two weeks ago about whether there would be walk up trade as the day was going to be gorgeous. Wait and see.
My worry with playing a 4-1-2-1-2 or some variation with only one defensive mid is that that defensive mid has to be Hall... and he fucking sucks. I don't think he can carry that load by himself. I'd have no problem switching to it if we had a competent DM, like if Julio Cesar were still around or if Laba finally arrives. I'm also not sold on Braun as a starter, when Koef comes back that two strikers up top thing looks far, far better.
Some notes from training as per Larson, Nelsen was working with a backline of Richter at LB, O'Dea, Boss, and Henry at RB. Also Earnshaw apparently scored a wonder goal. Larson & Molinaro both listed Ecks and Russell as doubtful for Saturday. Dunfield also out 4 weeks with a PCL tear.
