    Default Season tickets - got em yet?

    My rep says Purolator will deliver the season ticket packages "by mid-March," which is precisely two days from now if you want to be technical. Given that in past years, Purolator delivery has been a shit show (even though I'm in one of the most recognizable office towers in the city), I wonder if anyone has received their packages yet.

    ^That's certainly definitive, but doesn't make me feel great as I don't like how close they're cutting it (especially since my Account Manager is still empty and not showing any upcoming events).

    I'm not 100% sure about this but I know TFC/MLSE have a long standing contract with a Colorado based ticketing company to produce season ticket packages. I have no idea why they farm it out to Colorado when there are plenty of Canadian companies that can do the same job. It's possible that A) They switched companies this year and can't get them created on time or B) their contract with the older company states that the tickets are to be ready early march, which is when the MLS season traditionally started.

    Like I said, just a guess.

    I heard it had something to do with the MLS schedule and waiting until the last possible minute to make sure there are no ticket date/time changes on the printed tickets. Delivering within 10 days of the match is pretty close but I guess they have full confidence in Account Manager and the option to pick up at the box office for the few people that may run into issues so they don't see it as a big deal. Just my hunch on that.

    I just got an email stating the packages are now on their way and Purolator tracking number is on your account manager profile.

    Hello Michael,
    Your highly anticipated Season Seat Holder Package is on its way! Over the next couple of days, we will be couriering your package to you via Purolator.
    You can track your package by using your Purolator tracking number located within your online Account Manager under "Edit My Profile". Once you have your tracking number, please visit purolator.ca to track.
    Please note that if no one is home to sign for the package:

    • It will be taken to the nearest depot and held for 3 business days
    • Please ensure that you bring valid ID if you are picking up at the depot
    • After 3 business days, it will be returned to BMO Field where the Toronto FC Service team will contact you to make alternative arrangements

    Games are now available for you to print/forward through your Account Manager.
    The March 30th BMO Field Home Opener vs. LA Galaxy is right around the corner so let's show off those new 2013 scarves!

    I just got the email too. I used the tracker code and it told me that purolator has the package as of Monday.

    On the email the TFC banner is all in black. I like how they are slowly incorporating black into the TFC style guide. Might be setting it up for a black kit next year.

    Hmm ... mine's blank. I wonder how that means it is screwed up this year.

    A couple of years ago it meant that Purolater didn't believe my office address existed (very bizarre - it was perfect). Home address has been there for a year or so now ... and they keep mailing stuff to me.

    I heard on the news today that the Purolator man was spotted flying over Toronto in a sleigh full of tickets. It was being pulled by 8 flying reindeer and a man in the front with a bright red nose who bears a striking resemblance to Paul Beirne.

    I've been at MLSE for 19 years. As far as I can remember we have used Canadian ticket printers every season except year 1 of the Raptors.

    Same - I have no attachment to the tickets themselves, but I want the scarf so I can kick the season off properly. Last time I had seasons in 2010, Purolator couldn't find TD Tower and I had to go down to BMO to pick them up in the middle of the work day, which is INSANE. Fingers crossed history doesn't repeat itself, but I'm not getting too optimistic.

    EDIT: also, when I track my shipping number, Purolator says it created my file for this delivery at "19:44 a.m." Bahaha. Oh, Purolator.

    And I guess starting this thread today was very oddly timely with the email going out, eh...?

    Heard something somewhere, maybe Twitter, that a new dark onyx kit would be shown in a couple months. I imagine as a third. But I do believe that is the plan.

    Really? A few years back I remember my old ticket rep told me other wise. Granted he wasn't the sharpest so who knows. So your saying the packages don't come from the states?

    My tracking number is blank. Awesome.

    Update: Just called the team. Purolator won't ship them to the US, so they are being sent via FedEx. In previous years they have sent/resent/resent them again through Purolator every year, before finally sending them FedEx, looked like they finally learned.
