Default RPB Pre-Game Party at McLeans - 12:30 pm Saturday in Montreal.

I have touched base with McLeans have a reservation under the name Red Patch Boys official for 11:30 but you are more than welcome to come earlier. They will have 100 kegs of beer and their best servers to make things move swiftly. Also I do recommend that you pay for each beer when you get it so they are not rammed when we leave.

What: Red Patch Boys Pre-Game Party

Where: Upstairs at McLean's Pub , 1210 Peel Street, Montreal

When: Saturday, March 16th, Officially 11:30 pm but you are more than welcome to come earlier.

I know some people will be taking the 6:30 am Mega Bus from Toronto. Mega Bus no longer uses the UQAM Berri Station, there pickup/drop off is now right downtown, just a few minutes on foot from McLeans. Here is a map with the arrow being the stop for Mega Bus.

Meeting at Dorchester square is only going to create that clusterfuck at the Metro. I'd rather just have everyone show up at Pius X? (the subway stop we got off last year) at 3:30 for the 'march' in.

Get the weekend or day pass if you're planning to use the metro all weekend. This way it'll save you money and make it a bit easier for everyone to get through the lineups at the station.

    24 hours: $9
    Weekend: $12

It will not be a problem if everyone buys subway tickets before, which I plan on doing. I have a reservation under the name Red Patch Boys for McLeans, it is officially for 12:30 but you are more than welcome to come earlier. we will be upstairs along with the Western Mustangs marching band who are in town for the St. Paddys Day parade. I have been told they will have 100 kegs of beer ready for action.

The added bonus to meeting at Dorchester/getting on at Peel is the massive metro invasion by TFC supporters which is always epic.

I'd like to stress 2 things to ensure the best gameday possible:

    1. As soon as you arrive in town find a Metro stn and buy your tickets.
    2. Pay as you go Pre-Match for beer time!

These 2 steps will minimize the sadfaces that miss the start of the game.

If anyone's flying into and leaving Trudeau Airport, you can purchase a three day OPUS card at the airport and use it to get to downtown and back as well as use the Metro subway. It'll cost you $18, which is the exact amount if you were just paying one way from the airport to downtown ($9) and paying one way back. It'll save you buying any bus or subway tokens.

Also if you have a cab taking you to the subway on Peel that you actually get taking to the train and not somewhere to get a sandwich.

Sorry I won't be there. However that is not going to stop me from unsolicited advice. Deputize some people to do some traffic control in the Metro to make sure all the turnstiles are getting used. That line up last year was brutal.
