If anyone needs a pair (in the "standing section"), PM me as I'm not going.

EDIT: Taken by the gentleman below.

WHat??? why the fuck would they do that. It will split us all in half, ruin the big mass, why can we not just be all in 1 section? And is everyone is the sitting section actually going to sit?

you'd be surprised how many family types show up for away games. and yes, some of them prefer to sit

and the design of Big O... looks like they want all TFC supporters to be in one area, separated by multiple levels
“Years have gone by and I’ve finally learned to accept myself for who I am: a beggar for good football.

I go about the world, hand outstretched, and in the stadiums I plead: ‘A pretty move, for the love of God.’

And when good football happens, I give thanks for the miracle and I don’t give a damn which team or country performs it.”

I will be there, ready to support the Reds in Montreal .... Ready to enjoy the great day that it will be, ready to scream and shout the day away, when I walk up to the Big O the building will put on a big show, and there we go. Every time we support the Reds, I will be there with all my might, ready to run around the square, I will be there.

Well i do not plan on being where my ticket may say, i know i have 2 tickets in a supporters section but not together and another 2 in a complete different section which I think might actually be the sitting down section. This is due to how TFC mailed our tickets out (didn't mail them together) and since there is no way me and 3 other friends are going to be all split apart and no way we are going sit in the sitting down section the supporters section could have some extra fans. Really this was a disorganised set-up.

    The Impact of TFC:
Received our tickets today. We are in the last (farthest section back) in the Big O. I believe binoculars may be required?
It was interesting that we are being instructed that we may have to wait at the match's conclusion for the Montreal supporters to vacate the building first. Go TFC Go!

Having traveling supporters leave after home supporters is standard procedure around the world for football. Last year in MTL they where still selling beer in the stands while we waited to go LOL

It was a fairly long wait last year, but not unreasonable. The liquid definitely helped!

When I lived in Argentina it was the other way around. They locked the home fans in until the away supporters got a head start, though it can get a lot more violent there.

I'm bringing a light blue, $5, windbreaker jacket. Match ends, put it on, quietly walk out, once out take it off, faster to the bar = more time to booze & wheel...

I completely agree as last year I noticed they were not letting anyone leave the section who was in TFC gear, so I threw on my jacket and watched the last few minutes of the game from the west end of the stadium and was back on the subway within minutes of the final whistle.

Its pretty standard in many countries in Europe or South America that away fans have to wait anywhere from 15mins to 90mins after a game before they can leave with a escort of police, exspecially when some clubs are travelling abroad into other countries like England clubs abroad. But we don't really have the organised Hooligan element over here so i don't think we need the police escort. Maybe waitting a bit for home fans to clear out i guess makes sense but not a major issue.
