Montreal signs Canadian U20 GK Maxime Crepeau to HG contract
“Years have gone by and I’ve finally learned to accept myself for who I am: a beggar for good football.
I go about the world, hand outstretched, and in the stadiums I plead: ‘A pretty move, for the love of God.’
And when good football happens, I give thanks for the miracle and I don’t give a damn which team or country performs it.”

Former French international striker Peguy Luyindula signs with NYRB. No mention of DP...

Soumare is in play. I wonder if Philly would take Califf back for him.

“What the world needs is more geniuses with humility; there are so few of us left.”
Then we should trade him while he is at peak value. Hackworth is big on this whole "Philly Tough" thing, Califf is kind of a Dichio-esque figure for the Sons of Ben. It was Nowak who moved Califf, not Hackworth.
Califf is 33 but not an international. Soumare is 27 and an international.
I would move Califf for Soumare so fast it would make your head spin.

I doubt it will be like for like trade. Most likely we'll have to pony up more.
Freddy Adu on his way to Brazil (Bahia) with Kleberson coming to Philly in return - not quite a done deal yet.

No surprise that they want to unload Adu. Adu's early success went to his head it seems and he never developed properly as a footballer. He ended up being one of the most over-hyped players in the history of MLS (the next Pele anyone?), but never found serious success. If he had stayed at DC he might have had a chance.

Bologna forward Daniele Paponi (24 years old) is currently on trial with the Montreal Impact.

Lampard to Galaxy?
http://www.dailystar.co.uk/football/...A-Galaxy-move/
Lampard is by all accounts devoted to his kids, is divorced, and is dating/engaged a TV presenter in the UK that no one on this side of the pond knows, but makes millions in the UK.
This Galaxy rumour that is being repeatedly flogged does not make a ton of sense. I predict in stays in England. Or Europe.

Robbie Rogers spotted in training. Is he going under allocation? Playing for the team that owns his rights?
Nope, training for the LA fucking Galaxy who are expected to trade for his rights from Chicago. Oh it's not like they're struggling and could use a player or anything.
Perhaps it's time to just scap this farce of a system, I think.
