“Years have gone by and I’ve finally learned to accept myself for who I am: a beggar for good football.

I go about the world, hand outstretched, and in the stadiums I plead: ‘A pretty move, for the love of God.’

And when good football happens, I give thanks for the miracle and I don’t give a damn which team or country performs it.”

Here's the Timber's Army Tifo from tonight. I'll try to get a better shot once MLS Live makes the stream available.

Timbers best Supporters in MLS and followed closely by Seattle, both supporters are so well organised and coming out with new Tifos all the time. Us TFC fans seem to have a nice tifo every once in a while, but no where close to as often as these clubs do. And we are often not organised well, thats our biggest issue.

Good to see Vancouver bringing out a pretty decent tifo, they had some really shit ones last year. Cant wait to see what other Tifos come out this year, the league fans are getting better and better.

way to criticize, the few that did ALL the work, esp last year,.or One person in particular who used to carry ALL the weight,...simply 'FYR' and if you're not familiar with him find out who he is and contribute. If you have in the past contributed, this criticism should NEVER have been brought up without thinking it through first. hope you have been out in the past because most people do SFA, then complain. Words are cheap.

Jazzy, that might be a bit harsh.

FYR is doing a fine job as banner team leader but he did not carry 'all' the weight. There is a team that does that work and you and I are part of it and deserve some the credit that you call for.

That being said, we can and should do better. Many SG's in the MLS are leaving us in their dust and have been for a couple of years. I want the RPB to be amongst the best at support, especially visual support but we need to aim much bigger than we have.

I know, it's is hard when the team sucks, but that to me is even more reason to think big. Now.

I am not pointing my finger and blaming people. THis is just an observation comparison. All I am saying is what teams like Seattle and Portland are doing and what some other teams in MLS are doing and what we are doing. I did not say we are doing a shit job just pointing out that we do not have the best Tifos in MLS any more. Its no different then looking at a teams performance and saying well we play good some games and other games we do not play as a team. No reason to start crying about an observation man!

Guys the important part is that you want to be a part of changing things for the better. I have no problem with looking at other people's work but I'm also not in this for only ego. I want this to be a good time so we have more people that want to participate.

I've heard from you all through various channels and appreciate it. Official announcements will come.

Posted this request in another section but I figure it might get more eyes here:
I was thinking of doing a few giant heads for the dome opener, does anyone have any good resolution pics or decent shots I can use? Terry Dunfield after the Caps game last year comes to mind but I need a bigger version:

    Thanks!

problem is you cant have a good supporters section if people are going to stand there for the atmosphere...look around when chants are happening, half the ppls mouths aint moving. I see lots of ppl saying oh i wish we were like portland then when it comes time to put the money where their mouth is, its all quiet

Video by DC SG the "Dictrict Ultras" explaining how some of their great TIFOs come together:

MLS is a tough, physical league, that emphasizes speed, and features plastic fields, grueling travel, extreme weather, and incompetent refs. - NK Toronto

I think at the moment in MLS it is a small issue and they will let the clubs police there own stadiums.

use of flares and smokes is usually a city/state law thing. MLS normally isn't the primary person who dictates use of flares and smokes at a game
