Califf with a diving header brilliantly saved by Orlando GK

any one get the idea that Nelson has asked them not to take the ball forward and let them attack? both games so far seem to be much more defensive.
Either that or we have some serious serious issues... and need some player signing soon if we stand a chance.

That half was really hard to watch. In more than one way.

I'm just gonna go ahead and blame it on Hall, Califf, Lambe, and Cabrera. I just don't like them.

Match so far reminds me of the way we played at the start of 2011, new coach, new system.
It's going to take some time for them to learn it.

It's pouring rain, so no one's going in on challenges or marking tight, and Orlando are much more familiar with each other. I don't think we'll see too much effort to win the ball back because no one wants to get injured in a friendly; more likely they'll just mark people off the play as much as possible and break on turnovers.

Not much point getting excited or depressed at this point; we're still three or four signings away from a starting lineup.

Orlando City proved to be better organized and more team chemistry than TFC who look disjointed and look exactly like a team that's been hastily cobbled together. TFC is lucky to be not down a goal.

Good points. I'd be happier if we saw a forward signed.

The ironic part is: we probably won't be able to sign him due to the international slot he'll take. Shame, because he's already 10x Justin Braun.

Thinking that's gonna be a typical TFC goal for us under Nelsen this year. High pressure on their left back forces a giveaway, quick turn & a through ball for a goal on the counter-attack.

too many stupid long balls from the back. though interesting to see Stinson at LB. new jack of all trades?
